Extension of Application Deadline and Test Dates for the National GAT
 
Dear Test Takers,
 
We would like to inform you that the application period for the National GAT, which was initially scheduled to end on October 6, 2023 [መስከረም 25 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም], has been extended. This extension is due to some technical issues that prevented certain test takers from applying within the original timeframe. As a result, the application date for the National GAT will remain open until Sunday, October 8, 2023 [እሑድ መስከረም 27 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም] at 6:00 p.m. (ከቀኑ 12 ሰዐት). The test will be held between Tuesday, October 10, 2023 [ማክሰኞ መስከረም 29 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም] and Thursday, October 12, 2023 [ሐሙስ ጥቅምት 01 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም]. Monday, October 9, 2023 [ሰኞ መስከረም 28 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም] has been designated for an additional mock exam.
 
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the technical issues, and we appreciate your understanding and patience. This extension will allow all eligible test takers to complete their applications within the new timeframe.

GAT Registration Reminder Registration for Graduate Admission Test (GAT) will end Sunday, October 08, 2023 # 6:00 pm. Thus, applicants who have not yet registered were urged to get registered as per the schedule. Regards,

Dear National GAT Test Takers: Candidates who are unable to take the exam for a variety of reasons can contact your selected university or testing center and take exam from Thursday afternoon. Applicants who chose Addis Abeba University and missed the exam for a different reasons should contact in person with the testing center to arrange a new exam date. The final exam is scheduled on Friday, October 13, 2023 in the afternoon.

Dear National GAT Test Takers, cut off point will be announce by ministry of education. And certificate will be ready soon ( you will be notified) thanks 🙏

This is to announce that the Testing Center of Addis Ababa University in collaboration with the Ministry of Education has scheduled to administer the National GAT in selected exam centres:
1) Registration for the National  GAT at the AAU portal is open on Monday - Friday (November 6-10, 2023);
2) Exam administration is on the following week Monday-Friday  (November 13-17, 2023).


Please note the following:
There is no refunding of any GAT related payments;
There is no relocation of test venues.

-both new applicants and those who were tested previously can apply for the National GAT.
- No restrictions on applicants: anyone interested can apply.
- The payment is the same as in the past for all types of applicants.
