Copied: " 16 year old daughter had her 2nd dose of Pfizer back on April 12th. She had none of the typical flu like side effects, but a few days after, her eyelids started swelling. About a week post shot, her eyelids were so swollen, she could barely open them. Took her to the doctor who assumed it was allergies, so she started taking Zyrtec/Benadryl. That helped a little, but the swelling persisted. Decided to take her to an ophthalmologist who then prescribed steroid drops for her eyes. A week later (eyes still swollen), she wakes up with a severe sore throat. It gets worse to the point where she can’t swallow or eat. Take her back to the doctor and they test her for both covid and strep. Her strep came back positive. Started her on an antibiotic, and finally after 3 days of fever/sore throat, she turns a corner and starts to feel better. Fast forward a few more days, she wakes up this past Sunday with a measle like itchy rash that spreads over her entire body. Back to the doctor we go…..this time, her doctor suspected mono, which I thought was a long shot. Well, they called me today stating she tested positive for mono and her blood work is elevated and out of whack. Her liver enzymes are also elevated showing some hepatitis. Wondering if anyone else has had a new or reactivated EBV diagnosis post vaccine? "My friends dad was diagnosed with EBV and mono after his first shot, then later diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma after his second shot. Not sure of which shot he received. He had received a liver transplant years ago so this could have played a role as he was already immune suppressed.
My neighbor’s eyes were swollen shut for two days after his first dose of Pfizer. Was hospitalized two days after his second dose due to extreme nerve pain all over his body that felt like knives cutting him all over. They had to give him an IV if Fentanyl to manage his pain. He is young, fit and super healthy. Doctors couldn’t tell him a reason for the nerve pain. "
