The technique used is that of traditional stained glass work, with antique blown glass set in cames, soldered with a lead-tin alloy. The glass is probably antique blown glass from Saint Just, either coloured or flashed. Certain pieces of glass, principally those of the faces and limbs of the figures, are painted in grisaille and kiln-fired. Some of the glass is flashed (notably blue on yellow and red on white).The panels are to be removed and moved offsite for conservation. Restoration works to the frame and the panel removal! re-installation to be undertaken onsite.Artwork 2: An eight-part stained glass internal window built in 1961.The technique used is that of traditional stained glass work, with antique blown glass set in cames, soldered with a lead-tin alloy glazing beads in perimeter frames. The glass is probably antique blown glass from Saint Just, painted in grisaille and kiln-fired.The panels are to be removed and moved offsite for conservation.
