In the mornings when you tune in to your FM- 000 there are many advertisements regarding how buying real estate and owning a house would make your day/life easy ... like we don't know that.
However, in Ethiopia today, real estate buyers are left feeling helpless and deceived. Many investors have poured their hard-earned money into new construction projects, only to arrive at the picturesque sites of their dream homes to find nothing but shattered promises. Developers have been able to take advantage of unsuspecting buyers by boasting detailed blueprints and providing false estimated completion dates - all while taking hefty down payments from those eager to secure their spot in these new developments. However, these developers knew they could never fulfill their commitments and yet stand idly by as the buyers' money flows out into the abyss.
The Government of Ethiopia has done little to address this issue despite receiving lots of complaints from victims of these schemes. Potential buyers should be cautious when investing in any real estate venture in the country. Permits for projects should come only from officials approved by the government and other necessary parameters such as evaluating a construction project need to be properly reviewed before any commitment is made by an investor.
As Ethiopians begin 2023 with many unresolved issues reeling from 2022, it's essential that current projects not become another source of discontent. Authorities must step up and protect its citizens - otherwise, investors might become too wary to make high-stakes purchases like they used to.

We are looking for a freelance Civil/Structural designer
1. A Qualified Structural or Civil engineer
2. Interested for freelance jobs.
3. Must have experience of producing structural drawings and structural designs of one of the following projects:- Residential, Apartment, Mixed Use and Relative Building projects.
4. Applicants will be registered to apply for variety of building projects, when a client post in a virtual platform.
Experience: 1 year and above
Applicants should submit :
• Resume or CV
• At least 3 of a project he/she did
• Education document of completion(tempo) or any design certificate or Design License
Applicants should have
• Proven design certificate or Tempo or Professional Licence

A Bailey bridge is a type of portable, pre-fabricated, truss bridge. It was developed in 1940–1941 by the British for military use during the Second World War and saw extensive use by British, Canadian and American military engineering units. A Bailey bridge has the advantages of requiring no special tools or heavy equipment to assemble. The wood and steel bridge elements were small and light enough to be carried in trucks and lifted into place by hand, without the use of a crane. The bridges were strong enough to carry tanks. ቢሮው ፍላጎትና አቅም ያላቸውን የ2005 ዓ.ም የ20/80 እና የ40/60 የቤት ፈላጊ ተመዝጋቢዎችን በጋራ ህንጻ ህብረት ስራ ማህበር ተደራጅተው ቤት እንዲሰሩ ለማድረግ ዝግጅቱን በማጠናቀቅ ላይ መሆኑ የሚታወቅ ነው፡፡
በመሆኑም ከዚህ ቀደም ቢሮው ባስነገረው ማስታወቂያ መሰረት 70 ከመቶውን የቆጠባችሁ የማህበሩ አባላት ወደ ማህበሩ አካውንት እንድታዛወሩ ገልፆ ነበር።
ይሁንና በተለያዩ ምክንያቶች 70 በመቶውን ወደ ማህበሩ አካውንት ያላዘወራችሁ ቆጣቢዎች ለመጨረሻ ጊዜ እስከ ቅዳሜ 15/11/15 ዓ.ም ድረስ ብቻ እንድታዛውሩ እናሳስባለን።
ከቀነ ገደቡ ውጪ ወደ ማህበሩ አካውንት የሚያዛውር ቢሮው ኃላፊነቱን የማይወስድ መሆኑን ያሳውቃል።
