The engineering world is filled with amazing software and tools. Structural engineering is not left out, as more sophisticated structural analysis and design software are being developed. Even with this, structural engineers still use simple tools such as #Excel Spreadsheets and others to carry out specific tasks.
Below are some SIMPLE structural analysis tools.
⏺ BEAMAX - As the name suggests, the tool is simply used to analyze structural beams including statistically determinate and indeterminate beams. The tool produces shear force, bending moment and displacement (vertical) diagrams with their numerical values. It is an open-source tool.

This is a 2 -dimensional frame analysis software developed by Luiz Fernando Martha. The software is capable of analyzing beams, 2D frames and trusses. It gives results such as axial force, shear force, bending moment and displacement (horizontal, vertical and rotation) diagrams.
