You would have seen the USB ports on the back end of your motherboard; they are already soldered into the motherboard.
BUT did you know how the front USB ports in your PC case are connected to the motherboard?

It's through USB headers!

These small connection points on the motherboard base. This is where you connect the wires that come from your PC case (of front USB ports❳ in order to establish a power connection and use them.
