4a. Sudden Shifts to Better Stories (2025).pdf
2.5 MB
Thank you all for attending today. Please find the slides from lesson 4 here:
No video for next week, but a reminder that we need to collect 3 narrative from each of you (one from yourself and two more from family or friends) answering this question:

Think of a moment that happened recently to you — or someone you know — when AI impacted your life in either a very positive, or very negative way.

Then ask them to: Briefly describe what happened and indicate whether they think this is a positive or negative experience.
Dear all, please note that I have an unavoidable meeting outside of Moscow tomorrow and won't be back in time for our lesson. Therefore, the next lesson (#5) will take place on Tuesday April 29th. Sorry for any incovenience (but hopefully this give you all time to collect those narratives).

See you all next week!
Quick reminder: no lesson today. Lesson 5 will be next week (usual place and time).
Hi all, a reminder that lesson 5 will take place tomorrow, usual time and place.

We will need you to have 3 responses each (from different people) written down to this question:

Think of a moment that happened recently to you — or someone you know — when AI impacted your life in either a very positive, or very negative way.
Then ask them to: Briefly describe what happened and indicate whether they think this is a positive or negative experience.
I'm running a couple of minutes late. Will be there soon

Here's the result of the SenseMaker exercise (good work on this by the way).

Next week we will map out the two needs you identified from today:

We need to:
1. Use AI constructively
2. Not become too depenents on it

And if you're interested in running SenseMaker yourself, here are the instructions for the paper version (but feel free to get in touch if you need some support with it - happy to help).
And for next week's lesson (6) where we'll be learning how to use a Wardley Map, please watch the two short videos on this page: https://powermaps.net
We'll be mapping today. Look forward to seeing you at the usual time.
Excellent work today. Thank you for your efforts. Here's the rough map, but I will put this into a digitial format and next week show you what we can do with it.
Lesson 7 today - The Cynefin Framework. The last of the practical lessons. Look forward to seeing you at the same time and place.

Your Cynefin Framework from today's lesson
Hi all, today is the last lesson on this course. This is where I try to bring it all together - combining the theory of lessons 1-4 and the practical lessons 5-7 to provide an aswer to the question: How do we survive and thrive in an uncertain, complex and ever-changing world?

If you've attended previous lessons but missed a few for any reason please note that you are still welcome to attend this final lesson!

Hope to see you all there at the usual place and time (please take 18 minutes to watch the video for this lesson. Link above).
