Codingate Technology is looking for an IT Security Engineer to join our growing team. We are site reliability engineers and security engineers, working together to create systems and tools that enable our fellow engineers to securely operate and scale the world's largest code hosting platform. As a member of this team, you will develop, implement, and maintain organization-wide capabilities such as secrets management, identity and access management, gateway access, secure provisioning, and more. You'll always be challenged to solve interesting and novel problems that have real impact on how the world builds software.

Key duties
• Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of servers, web applications, and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct application penetration testing with the development team.
• Deploy and manage security methods on the server and running web application computers.
• Conduct basic security training for staff with specific topics.
• Create documentation and report on new updates and changes.
• Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible, about security incidents.
• Configure and troubleshoot cloud security infrastructure.
• Research weaknesses and find ways to counter them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and update the application service on the server to make sure it is not vulnerable.
• Report possible threats or software issues.
• Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems.
• Create best practices and security standards for the organization and the customer.
• Attend with the software development team to conduct security testing in application design.
• Configure security settings in VPS server hosting based on the application running.
• Configure policy in the firewall or security profile on the cloud platform.
• Submit a weekly report on daily work to the manager.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Knowledge and Skill
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or information security.
• 1 year of experience in related skills.
• Certification in related skills is a high priority.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise
• Basic coding skills, such as HTML, JSON, Python, and other languages,
• I am good at English writing and specking.
SKILLS
• High commitment.
• Good team work.
• Good at priority management skill.
• Good at communication skills.
• Good at critical thinking.
• Willing to learn new skills.
PERSONALITY
• Responsible with scope of work.
• Friendly, and get along well with other team members
• Pro-active in problem solving.
