.@NOAA’s #GOESEast 🛰️ captured a large plume of #SaharanDust blowing across the Atlantic Ocean today, from western Africa to the #Caribbean. The dust, which can inhibit #thunderstorm growth and cause hazy skies and brilliant sunsets, is expected to reach Florida on Friday. #GOES19
