"Students are facing threats of suspension and intimidation for organizing walkouts. Why are we being punished for doing the right thing while ICE gets to act with impunity and is murdering so many in the streets?
So many students in Georgia organized walkouts last week despite all the threats. Students are willing to face suspension. It's a risk worth taking because of what is at stake. I am being threatened with suspension, but l am here standing and my school will walk out to demand an end to ICE."
On Friday, January 30 - Trump and the billionaires will see the power of the students and workers united. In Georgia, over 75 schools will walk out. No business as usual. We shut it down in solidarity with Minnesota. The people demand an end to ICE terror!

The U.S. has sponsored countless interventions, occupations and coups against Haiti, creating the very conditions Haitians have been forced to flee.

Trump and Israel are carrying out an unprovoked, illegal bombing of Iran. This war threatens to cause unthinkable death and destruction. Iran has not attacked the United States.
The people of this country reject another war for regime change and empire, a war which only serves the interests of a tiny elite and oil executives. Today, protests will take place in cities around the United States to oppose a new war with Iran.
A growing list of demonstrations will be updated at ANSWERCoalition.org in the coming hours.
Initial sponsoring organizations of the day of protest include: ANSWER Coalition, National Iranian American Council, 50501, American Muslims for Palestine, The People’s Forum, Palestinian Youth Movement, and CODEPINK.
