So, let’s make an introduction to the technologies we use:
1. Our stack on the front-end: React 18 + TypeScript - we stick to strict typing for stable system performance; React-Query - to get instant results on your requests; Redux as a proven tool for state management. In addition, we use PWA technologies to use our application on any platform you would like through the capacities of browsers that help the app be cross-platform out of the box. Also, on the front-end, we use TDD methodologies. Each code line is tested separately to create the most stable product. Then the whole application is tested with code and manually by QA engineers.
2. Recommendation system
The primary purpose of the backend is a recommendation system. Our project will use artificial intelligence to create the best recommendation system. It will allow users to see the videos they are most interested in. To do this, we will use a separate microservice on Python, which will take information about the user’s preferences and recommend what he would like to see!
3. Development Strategy
As a development strategy, we will use the mono repo. It is a relatively new strategy to improve communication between developers on the team and simplify development. As we are supposed to have several microservices, use component library, and web3 app, for an application like Cleeps, this is one of the best options.
4. We will integrate with Moralis.io, which will help simplify the internal processes and save the development time to ship scalable and robust Dapp to go to the market as fast as possible and launch the beta in the near future.
5. Except for the architecture and development setups, we finished MetaMask authentication this week and almost finished the profile settings page. On the next #DevNotes post, we will be ready to tease the first completed screens of the app.
