Some Protestants object that if Catholicism were true, you wouldn’t have so many bad Catholics who have daily access to the Sacraments. But it must be remembered that the Sacraments are not magic. They can be relied upon to give us the graces they signify, but we must always do our part to, in the spirit of penance, cooperate with those graces in persistently removing the impediments to those graces which are often the wounds of sin residing from within the depths of our own nature.

This is because our nature is what grace always builds upon and is meant to perfect. Once we do that, which is a lifelong process for all of us, *then* we will become the Sacrament’s true and proper fruits.

As a Catholic, if you’re going to successfully reconcile the teachings of Pope Gregory the Great and the Third & Fourth Lateran councils on the one hand with the teaching of Nostra aetate on the other concerning the Jews, you really would just end up with Nick Fuentes’ actual, unironic position: they shouldn’t be oppressed or harmed in any way but that they should not be permitted to use any social influence they have to subvert the social Kingship of Christ

This is THE Catholic position backed up by the Church’s conciliar and papal Magisterium

I believe it’s genius and even Providential how Ye’s campaign is starting out as such an explosive spectacle, it’s even reminiscent of Trump’s success

Trump began his campaign calling Mexicans rapists and criminals, and then the overarching trajectory of his campaign having been borne out of this initial extremism ended up normalizing the crux of the original sentiment and there was no turning back
