Pope Francis never actually said it was a moral obligation to get the COVID vax, he said that there exists a moral “responsibility” to get the vax, but with all papal statements, these can be translated into “if-then statements” that are contingent upon his reading of empirical facts

If and only if the COVID vaccines were clearly and manifestly safe and effective inoculations against a deadly pathogen, then of course it would be a moral responsibility to take them, especially if they really did prevent the *transmission* of a deadly disease

The problem is that these purported facts can by no means be taken as granted, and the Pope is not in any way protected from making grave errors in the domains of science or medicine

The only Magisterial statement on COVID vaccines as far as faith and morals is concerned would be the CDF’s statement that came out in December of 2020 which explicitly states that they should be voluntary.

Race, Reflections of a Theologian by Bonaventure Hinwood.pdf

as I promised a number of months ago, here is a PDF of what I think is the best treatment of race from a Catholic theological perspective

written by Fr Bonaventura Hinwood, and carefully typed out in its entirety by @HeartoftheAevum

Please do share this with anyone who may benefit from a comprehensive analysis of race from the standpoint of a very learned Catholic theologian

Liberal Catholics especially under the Biden administration are trying to gaslight faithful Catholics into believing that Catholic social teaching would lend support to BLM or “antiracism” ideology

This couldn’t be further from the truth, and this treatise will help dispel these lies

Not that I’m going anywhere, but if my online presence is remembered for anything I’d like it to be remembered for popularizing the argument for the Incarnation I’ve articulated over the years, as I think this is a necessary piece of the puzzle when it comes to effectively evangelizing non-believers

Historical arguments for the resurrection are crucial, of course, but if it all comes down to a set of contentious historical probabilities, it may come across as insufficiently equipped to convince someone to overturn their entire view of the world

It’s important to supplement the historical arguments as indispensable as they are with philosophical ones in order to build a logical bridge between the classical arguments for God’s existence and the central doctrine of the Christian Faith.

If it can be successfully argued that the God of classical theism would plausibly unite Himself to a human nature given who He is in relation to the Cosmos, then one can with much more ease come to the realization that this has been fulfilled in history as reliably witnessed by the the Apostles and Evangelists. These men went to their deaths not for any philosophical abstraction, but for their own claim to have witnessed the historical, risen Christ in the flesh, Whose claim to Divinity just so happens to cohere perfectly with what can already be plausibly hoped for by way of reasoned metaphysical argument

You can watch my presentation of this argument here:

I support the March for Life but let’s not pretend that the leadership of the March and the pro-life movement in general haven’t set the anti-abortion cause back with their shameful capitulation to second wave feminism. There’s no teeth in it at all, and if anyone doubts that just think back to how apoplectic they were in response to Donald Trump’s very reasonable suggestion that women pay penalties for killing their children

Beardson: "There's a reason why God put so many Catholics in my life. I feel like God really likes to put all these people in my life for a reason. To try and ignore that would be foolish and I think that would be against God's plan for me. I don't want to convert for the sake of converting and fitting in. I don't want to convert to Catholicism, because that's what all my friends are doing. But it would be foolish also to turn away from it and ignore what I perceive as this message from God that this is something to look into."

if a White conservative said something a bit awkward about the Holocaust these common good conservatives like Robert George would be calling for their crucifixion make no mistake

God is unchanging not out of a deficit of activity but out of a superabundance of activity which cannot be divided into finite periods of rest and motion

it may seem as though liberal Catholics and reactionary Catholics are equally guilty of politicizing the faith, but the difference is that the former try to weigh the Faith down to the level of the political whereas the latter try to subordinate the political to the Faith

if we are committed theologically to the notion that ancient Israel was ordained by God to be a foreshadowing of the Church, we should also see Israel’s own tribulations and sufferings as foreshadowings of what Christ’s Mystical Body on Earth must endure, until She is fully restored to eternal glory in the world remade

after all, if the Church does not endure intense suffering and desolation before restoration and glory, is She really following in the footsteps of Her Divine Spouse, who could only rise again in glory from the ashes of suffering and death?

one things for certain: God will tend to the vine that “His right hand has planted” (Psalm 80); the only thing we can do is ensure we abide faithfully in that vine so that we can be the fruit that God chooses to bear once He does decide — and He will— to slay the boars currently trampling His vineyard

Congrats on 5 years Nick! Been following and watching you since the Molyneux interview and it quickly became apparent that you were the only one in the dissident right saying the complete fullness of the truth with charisma, intelligence, and honestly just pure love for the cause

Nothing has changed in that regard either. While more and more people are coming around to some of the truth, you (and the movement you started) are still the only voice standing for the whole and complete truth. Not only that, you’re still the only voice in the dissident right that stands unapologetically for Christ and His Church

I’m just honored to have had the privilege of being a part of it for so long in whatever small way I have been

God bless you man, I’ve no doubt we’ll be celebrating a full decade’s worth of America First 5 years from now
