Community Leadership Award of the Year 2023

Dear everyone,

Dr. Heng Kimkong, CEF's Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief, has just been awarded the Community Leadership Award of the Year 2023 by the Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia (AAA-C) and Australia Awards Cambodia (AAS) for his significant contributions to promoting research and publication in Cambodia.

Highlights of his contributions

- Established two academic journals in Cambodia
- Supported the establishment/publication of several journals in Cambodia
- Published nearly 200 publications (about 30 journal articles)
- Accumulated 1,000 citations on Google Scholar 
- Helped almost 100 people publish their first articles
- Helped review/edit over 500 articles/proposals/scholarship applications/theses/reports (mostly for free)
- mentored numerous students/young researchers

Free Online Training Course

Dear everyone,

As part of the Cambodian Education Forum (CEF)'s Funding Raising Campaign, yesterday CEF organized a free online research training course on "How to write the methods section of a research paper".

Almost 300 people attended the training which lasted for 4 hours!
