Former Pakistani Official Warns Iran War Could Become WW3, MidEast Leaders Will Meet To Discuss ConflictOfficials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan will meet on Sunday and Monday to discuss ways to bring the Iran war to an end.

Turkey's inclusion in the meeting is notable as it is a NATO member. Saudi Arabia is a close U.S. ally that just struck a defense deal with Ukraine. Egypt shares a border with Israel (the driving force in the Iran war). Pakistan is an intermediary for U.S. communication with Iran since the onset of the conflict. Ahead of Middle Eastern officials meeting Sunday and Monday to discuss the Iran war, the former Pakistan national security adviser Moeed Yusuf warned that if the conflict is not ended soon, it can spiral into what historians will refer to as World War Three.

I don’t use social media to pontificate but this needs to be said.

If no off-ramp is found within the next week, history will write of this Middle East conflict as WWIII. Very soon, it will resemble a global conflict in terms of the number of countries involved, the intensity of violence, and the spread of its absolutely catastrophic consequences.
