Since Olya, a photographer and travel author, moved to Barcelona, she began capturing fleeting moments in the city and stories about the people. For Ciao, Olya shares her documentary view of Barcelona through warm, non-staged shots filled with natural light. Save this post to see the city through the eyes of a photographer!
Must-visit list from Olya in Barcelona:

1. Gabriel García Márquez Library
It's an entire cultural center, located relatively far from downtown. The building itself is an architectural work of art that you want to examine and enjoy in detail, noticing something new each time. The space is well thought out - my favorite place for reading is a the cocoon chairs. You can enter without any documents. Welcome & enjoy.

2. CASA TAOS
it's worth coming for their apple pie with mascarpone cream, which I absolutely love, and excellent coffee. just one table available for work.

3. Jardins de Mossèn Costa i Llobera
A great spot for peaceful morning walks with sunrise and sea views. Walking paths among various cacti and succulents — super strange creatures that I love examining. If I were an artist, this is where I'd come to draw.

4. Miró Museum
My favorite museum on Montjuïc hill. White walls with playing light create perfect photo opportunities. You can visit the café without a ticket, access the rooftop with city views, and enjoy the Catalan surrealist's works.

5. Origo
A place where you can find something close to Swedish cardamom buns. Excellent pastries, the best baguette in the city, and the option to grab a bottle of organic wine to go.
The Talent Passport is one of the best programs for relocating to France if you work in a creative field. It allows you to get a residence permit for up to four years right away — and bring your family with you.

It’s absolutely possible to prepare your application without an agency. Alina and her friends did it ourselves — and so can you.

The key is to show that you want to build your career specifically in France, not just anywhere in the EU. Support that with documents, letters, projects, and your CV — and you’re on your way.
Madrid is a city of contrasts, and no matter your budget, there’s always something extraordinary to experience.

Today, our community member Yaroslav spills the beans on the city’s most authentic experiences in three ways: Affordable Adventures, Bohemian and Old Money Madrid.
Spain ranks among the top destinations for digital nomads.

But moving here isn’t just beaches and tapas. It’s also about finding affordable housing, navigating Spanish bureaucracy, adapting to a new culture, and understanding how the local job market works.

That’s why the largest community of Russian-speaking digital nomads in Spain is holding an event for nomads in Barcelona — to talk about it all in a casual, real way:
— how to rent an apartment without overpaying,
— how to find work or freelance clients in Spain,
— how to deal with local paperwork,
— and how to connect with others who’ve been through it.

We are sponsoring breakfast at the event – so you can grab a coffee, recharge, and and meet the great people!

Whether you’ve just arrived or have been here a while and want to better understand life in Spain, come join to the Forum.

We tell you to live flexibly, and guess what? We do it too! Last week, some of our team just happened to meet in Peru. Complete accident — no plans at all and it wasn't part of our agenda. Now, we're all guessing where we'll end up next, hoping our next random team get-together lasts more than 24 hours.
