I've been debating if I should write this out here or not, but since I'm still thinking about it, I guess it's a good thing to let it out

You may not have gathered this info here from what I've posted because I'm trying to keep a positive attitude in my channel, but I've been struggling quite a lot to get a job, and commissions for that matter. I've launched Vgen for that reason, but that too isn't bringing much (though I'll give it time)
It honestly really, really saddens me that I'm not getting much support outside of my friends and mutuals I'm closer with, despite having a pretty large platform I'd say?
Yet I get DMs and comments only when it's about asking something of me, an info, advice, brushes, or something absolutely not related to my art.
Don't get me wrong, I am very happy to help when I can, but I'd also love to get that help back when I'm actually struggling...?
I'm honestly getting tired of having to dispense information i absolutely do not get anything from over and over again, like about the school I went to. If the school paid me for how many times I've been asked to recommend it I would be fucking rich
Again, I do not mind usually, it's just very frustrating, especially when it's people only texting me when they need something
What I mean isn't that you must not ask me anything ever again, it's not my goal, I just want support back, that's all.

It's the situation that sucks, not the people. I do not hold grief towards anyone, I'm just trying to make you understand that no matter how "big" of a platform someone might have, the actual support comes from the single person that decides to commission, share and/or donate. Without that support, I struggle and do less art, and eventually have to do something else entirely! It's all a chain reaction, and each and every chain ring is as important as the others. 🩷
