A California pediatrician is suing the CDC over a federal program that requires doctors in her state who treat children enrolled in Medicaid to give those children all of the vaccines recommended by the CDC.

Dr. Samara Cardenas lost her medical practice after the CDC Vaccines for Children Program kicked her out of the program because she wouldn’t give COVID-19 vaccines to healthy kids.

Cardenas is not seeking compensatory damages. Instead, the lawsuit “seeks to compel the CDC to abandon its misguided and scientifically untethered policy, and stop the unnecessary mass vaccination of the nation’s poorest children.”

To illustrate the inadequacy of the genetics-only model, consider the “missing heritability” problem. In theory, if autism were primarily genetic, then genome-wide scans would reveal consistent, high-effect mutations. Instead, the findings have been underwhelming:

The largest GWAS to date has implicated hundreds of genes, but each explains only a tiny fraction of risk.

The effect sizes are so small that they fail to distinguish autistic individuals from non-autistic peers in clinical settings.

Many implicated genes are involved in basic neurodevelopmental processes, which makes them non-specific: mutations in these same pathways are implicated in epilepsy, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or ADHD, intellectual disability, and even schizophrenia.

🚨 Study Shows Flu Vaccine Disrupts Menstrual Cycles — Author Says Findings Should ‘Reassure’ Women

Previous studies have shown that COVID-19 vaccines disrupt women’s menstrual cycles. Now, a new study shows that flu vaccines, whether given alone or in conjunction with COVID-19 shots, caused women to have longer menstrual cycles.

However, internal medicine physician Dr. Clayton Baker suggested the study’s authors and MedPage downplayed the study’s findings. Baker said the fact that 5% and 6% of women in each group had their menstrual cycles extended by eight days “is a very significant finding.”

If 6% of people experienced an anaphylactic reaction to a drug, the drug would never be approved by the FDA, Baker told The Defender.
