I've had a pretty bad coughing fit the night before the Dealer's Den opening, so my voice was pretty much a mess for 80% of the time I was there 🙈🙈 Sorry if you had trouble understanding me or I sounded funny.
Anyway, here's some photos of the sketch commissions I took at the con, the photos I took this time are particularly awful 🤪 (and one of the artworks is a little gory, so if you're not into that kinda stuff... You have been warned.)

The jury is still out on whether this is actually what has been bothering me for a couple of months now, but I'm seeing doctors and trying to get this resolved. For now I had my blood tested and I'm just glad it's not rheumatism 🫠

Long story short: I wanted to spend the day streaming to have some company, but I was denied by my computer.
Long ass venty story because I need to let out my frustrations SOMEWHERE lmao
Since I'm on my own this NYE for once, I thought I might do a little stream, seeing if anyone else who's alone might wants to join me for some company, been while since I've done that, after all. Just doodle for a while, maybe offer up some discounted commissions while I'm at it, who knows. So I've spent like an hour or so getting my programs and profiles up to date, open up Photoshop to test my set ups, but I can't even draw 5 consecutive lines without my computer bitching about my scratch disc being full. It's fine, I get this error frequently, I am a data hoarder after all and it was a conscious choice of mine to only get a 500GB SSD to hold both my system and all of my programs after all. All of my other HDDs don't look much better in terms of space, anyway. So I go to delete some temp files and a bunch of other stuff that frequently tends to collect dust on my drives, and I notice there's a big ass folder on my desktop. (Like, a good 25-30 Gigs at least) So I decide to move it to my external drive, but since that thing is, like, 15 years old at this point it apparently takes roughly 3 hours to transfer all of the files to that drive. Not only that, but it slows down my computer SO bad that I can't really use it to do ANYTHING else on it. COOL. Then I remember my bitch-ass USB hub sometimes decides to randomly disconnect from my computer (my money's on a problem with the power supply or a loose connection, I don't really know) and I don't want that to happen just minutes before my files have been transferred, or damage my drive in the whole fucking process. But I need to do this or I won't be able to stream. Then I remember I got a shiny new USB hub for Christmas, so if I just switched the two I wouldn't have said problem. But my desk is a mess and it's dirty, and I don't want to put the new hub on a dirty desk, so I can't really do this if I don't clean my desk first. My ADHD meds are properly kicking in at this point, so I just throw my hands in frustration, going OKAY WHAT THE FUCK EVER GUESS WE'RE DOING THIS NOW. So I clean my desk and switch out the hubs like a good little bean, but you wanna know the REAL fucking kicker?? Sometime DURING this whole ordeal, I remember that my external drive was never connected to the hub in the first place, because I always knew my hub was an unpredictable little shit and I didn't want the drive to get damanged that way even when I first got it, so I always connected it straight to the PC. Meaning I wasted a good 1-2 hours cleaning my whole entire desk for essentially NOTHING. I am angry as shit, reinitiate the file transfer, it still takes about 3 hours to complete. I do the math, thinking okay surely it's not that bad if I only start streaming some time in the evening, right? Doing some quick math in my head, everything should be finished by roughly 6PM. That's fine. With my meds still kicking, I decide to give my keyboard a deep clean while waiting, three hours pass, and the transfer is STILL not done. In the end, That shit wasn't done until at LEAST 8:30 or so. By that point, I was tired, I was exhausted, I didn't have it in me to stream for only a couple of hours as I was sure I'm not going to stay up for that long into the night anyway. So, essentially, I just cursed myself for not using some of the money I saved this year for finally upgrading a dying computer (it has more issues than just cluttered drives, believe you me) instead of impulse buying some other things I've been having an eye on for eternity, ordered pizza and crawled back into bed with my Switch to distract myself. I eventually came back out to vent my frustrations real quick, as you can see, but rest assured, I will be heading straight back there and waiting out the eventual apocalypse happening outside. Good night!

So I finally went to see a specialist yesterday to get my hands examined and it's Osteoarthritis just as I thought. (Or "Rhizathrose" in German, which just rolls off the tongue SO much nicer ngl)
I got a new medicinal brace and exercises for pain management, but other than that... Not much that can be done for me I'm afraid. 🙃 Guess I just "gotta be careful". Life is great, y'all. ✌️
