It ignited a revolution that forced the Britishers to leave India. His principles inspired many great leaders of modern society, such as Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King. *Every year on 2nd October, we celebrate the birthday of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.*

The auspicious Navaratri festival is celebrated over 9 days during the month of Ashvina(usually in September and October). It honours and celebrates the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura in the battle that was fought for over nine days. *The festival symbolises the triumph of good over evil and women empowerment.* During these nine days/nights, nine incarnations of Goddess Durga are worshipped all over the nation with great joy and enthusiasm.

So on the special occasion , the *CEST and ICE family wish everyone a Happy Navaratri.*

The word Dussehra is derived from the Sanskrit words Dasha (ten) and Hara (defeat). Dussehra or Vijayadashmi is celebrated on the 10th day of the Ashvin month of the Hindu calendar. *It marks the end of Navratri and signifies the victory of good over evil.* On this day, Goddess Durga defeated Mahishasura after a fierce battle lasting for more than nine days. Further, on this day, Lord Ram had defeated Lanka king Ravana.
