The *Cest club of NIT Rourkela*, in collaboration with *ICE UK*, is organizing a talk session with Mr. Debasish Khuntia, an *alumnus of NITR*, who bagged *Rank 1* in *OPSC AEE EXAM*. It is an excellent opportunity for aspirants to get a brief idea about this exam and get motivated by the best in the business.

Ramnavmi is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Chitra according to the Hindu calendar. Shri Ram was born in Ayodhya(Utter Pradesh) as the first son of King Dashrath and Queen Kausalya. This *Ram avatar of Lord Vishnu was meant to kill the almighty Ravan*, destroy sins and maintain peace and prosperity on earth. The celebrations include fasting, singing devotional songs, visiting temples, and reciting hymns from Rama Charitmanas.

It *celebrates the work carried out by the ICOMOS*- International Council on Monuments and sites. This day is all about increasing the awareness on the importance of the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving it for generations in the future.

Eid-Al-Fitr, also known as " *Holiday of breaking fast*" is a religious holiday which is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as it marks the end of the month-long dawn to sunset fasting of Ramadan. It is celebrated during the first three days of the month Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. *Muslims use this holy time to express their gratitude to Allah for their well being*. Many Muslims gather in the religious places like mosques and do mass prayers.
