Tomorrow we have invited a care company to host an employment opportunity event at Centrala on Thursday 25th April
At the event, they will provide more information about the employment opportunity, which will include:

Reasons to start a career in health and social care:
* How to enter 3 weeks training and enrol onto the Level 1 Health and Social Care Qualification
* Guaranteed job interview
* What happens with the DBS check (Disclosure Barring Service) and work uniform
* Other progression opportunities
The employer promotes how more than 80% of people progress through their programme to gain employment.
The travel costs for the duration of the training will be covered and you can find out more information about childcare.

You will have the opportunity to learn about mindfulness, gain an appreciation of nature and also create some beautiful craft dolls made from hay, flowers, leaves, sticks, and other natural things found in the park. We will also introduce breathing exercises and meditation.
The 2019 Birmingham Suicide Prevention Strategy report revealed higher suicide rates among Central and Eastern European communities.

Help us understand and address these challenges by participating in our survey. Project is funded by and delivered for Public Health Birmingham.

Spectra Arts: Operations Lead vacancy
Spectra is seeking an Operations Lead, a new core role in our organisation, and we'd be so grateful if you'd help us spread the word. Role’s Purpose: To ensure Spectra fulfils its aims through collaborative, strategic leadership. To develop and oversee Spectra’s operations through the responsive, care-led, inclusive structuring and delivery of internal systems with particular focus on communications, HR and finances.

Salary: £33,827 per year pro rata x .8 role (4 days per week).
