CCMT Institute fee for candidates admitted through CCMT-2020 https://ccmt.nic.in/WebInfo/File/GetFile?FileId=18&LangId=P
Schedule of CCMT-2020 Regular Rounds (Revised on 11-08-2020) https://ccmt.nic.in/WebInfo/File/GetFile?FileId=22&LangId=P
1️⃣ Candidate allocated a seat till 3rd round can participate in NSR round by paying an additional amount of 10K which will be adjusted in finally allocated college fee. (Refer table 3 of CCMT Brochure)
2️⃣Candidates admitted in the Finally Allotted Institute (and not withdrawn) will retain their seat if the new seat is not allotted in the Special Rounds. However, if a new seat is allotted in Special Rounds, the earlier allotted seat will be cancelled. (Refer to Brochure Page 20.)
3️⃣Candidates who are going to register for Special Rounds as per Schedule (notified on CCMT website) are not required to pay the balance fee of the allotted institute. They are required to upload an affidavit (in the format given in Annexure-V) in this regard. (Brochure Page 18).
4️⃣ Also even if you are not allocated a new seat you will retain your earlier allocated seat (seat allocated till 3rd round)
6️⃣Online withdrawal from the allocated institute after 3rd round is from Aug 15 (Sat) – Aug 24(Mon), 2020, and CCMT will release availability of tentative vacant seats on Aug 19 (Wed), 2020. So there are high chances that people may withdraw their seats after 19th August and some seat still remains vacant which might not be published in CCMT vacant seat list.
For Eg: In 2019, IIITA Had 0 seats vacant in general category in the vacant list and cutoff was 637. After NSR the nsr cutoff dropped to 517.
7️⃣So no risk even if u are going for NSR round to get better college. Even if no new seat is allocated u will have the previous one at least.
8️⃣ After Allotment of the seat in Special Round-2 (including seats retained from previous Regular Rounds or SR-1), no refund will be made to the candidate. The participation fee and seat acceptance fee paid will be transferred to the finally allotted Institute. (you won't get any refund if you are a allocated a seat and didn't join the institute.)
9️⃣ Also, even if there are no seats left in the tentative vacant seat list, still you can fill that seat in your choice filling because of:
