We are looking for a Senior Python developer to work on our M&A Lifecycle Management Platform (HQ in USA). This is a unified platform for M&A optimization. It includes intuitive tools for pipeline management, due diligence, and post merger integration so that M&A teams have everything they need to manage deal lifecycle in one location, reducing misalignment and driving efficiency.
Full- time, Contractor (B2B). Remote, significant overlap with European working hours required
Responsibilities:
● Participate in all aspects of product development, from ideation through
architecture to implementation, testing, and continuous deployment.
● Cooperate with other engineering team members, product managers, support, and
other stakeholders in the company.
● Write scalable, reliable, and maintainable code.
● Facilitate design discussions, guide code reviews, and drive the resolution of
complex problems with innovative, user-centric solutions.
● Develop backend components and APIs that seamlessly integrate with the SPA
frontend and other system components.
● Monitor and optimize backend system performance, identifying opportunities for
improvement and addressing bottlenecks.
● Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance
with industry regulations.
Who you are:
● Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 5 years of experience in
developing web applications.
● Expertise in Python, Django and Django Rest Framework, with a focus on building
scalable and maintainable backend systems.
● Proven experience in designing, optimizing, and maintaining databases, specifically
using PostgreSQL.
● Experience in implementing public APIs, including webhooks for event-driven
communication.
● BSc in Computer Science or related field.
