Sauerkraut, Joghurt, Sojasauce, Kimchi, Salami und sogar Tabak - Lebensmittel Fermentieren bedeutet mehr als sie nur haltbar zu machen. Der Gärungsprozess lässt probiotische Nährstoffe entstehen und setzt einen besonderen Geschmack frei. Gemeinsam mit euch wollen wir die altbewährte Konservierungsmethode testen und geben euch genug Wissen mit auf den Weg, damit ihr eure Lebensmittel auch Zuhause fermentieren könnt.🧉🍶

Sauerkraut, yogurt, soy sauce, kimchi, salami and even tobacco - fermenting food means more than just preserving it. The fermentation process creates probiotic nutrients and releases a special flavor. Together with you, we want to test the traditional preservation method and give you enough knowledge so that you can ferment your food at home.🧉🍶

The pesticide atlas as a collaboration of BUND, Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung and PAN Germany provides data and facts for a lively debate - to finally initiate the necessary ecological change of trend.📖🍃

Hier habt ihr ab 16Uhr die Möglichkeit euch mit den Aktiven der Gartengruppe auszutauschen und euch das Gartenprojekt von ihnen zeigen zu lassen. Der AK Klima und Energie sorgt außerdem mit einem Vortrag über unsere Ernährungsgewohnheiten und deren Klimaauswirkungen für Unterhaltung und Gesprächsstoff. 💚

Zum Abschluss unserer Ernte Dank Woche habt ihr die Möglichkeit die Kleinen Beete e.V. kennenzulernen. Der Verein versteht sich dabei nicht als anonyme Biokiste (Ware gegen Geld), sondern als selbstorganisierte Solidargemeinschaft.Wie das funktioniert, wie und wo das Gemüse angebaut wird und wie ihr selbst mitmachen könnt erfahrt ihr bei einer Führung über das Gelände des solidarischen Gartenprojekts in Sehlis. Anschließend findet dort ein gemeinsames Herbstfest statt, zu dem ihr herzlich eingeladen seid. Wir treffen uns kurz vor 14Uhr an der Kreuzung Treesenweg/An der Schmiede in Taucha!💚
Ihr habt Lust auf etwas Familienspaß für Groß und Klein? Besucht unsere Streuobstwiese! Unsere Streuobstwiese liegt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet "Leipziger Auenwald"(Streuobstwiese Stahmelner Straße 37) und erstreckt sich über 12.000 m². Auf der Fläche sind über achtzig Apfel-, Birn-, Kirsch- Pflaumen-, und Walnussbäume verteilt. Bei einer kleinen Schatzsuche bringen wir euch die Streuobstwiese ein bisschen näher. Alle Kinder, die Spaß am Rätseln haben, sind ab 10Uhr herzlich eingeladen! Anschließend habt ihr die Möglichkeit ein paar Äpfel auf der Streuobstwiese zu ernten, bei unserer mobilen Presse verarbeiten zu lassen und ein Glas frischen Apfelsaft zu genießen. 🍎🥛

At the end of our Thanksgiving Week, you have the opportunity to get to know Kleinen Beete e.V.. The organization does not see itself as an anonymous organic box (goods for money), but as a self-organized solidarity community. How this works, how and where the vegetables are grown and how you can participate yourself, you will learn on a guided tour of the land of the solidarity garden project in Sehlis. Afterwards there will be an autumn festivity, to which you are welcome to join us. We meet shortly before 2 p.m. at the crossroads Treesenweg/An der Schmiede in Taucha!💚
You want to have some family fun for young and old? Visit our orchard meadow! Our orchard is located in the protected landscape area "Leipziger Auenwald" (Streuobstwiese Stahmelner Straße 37) and extends over 12,000 m². There are more than eighty apple, pear, cherry, plum and walnut trees spread over the area. During a little treasure hunt we will bring you a little bit closer to the meadow orchard. All children who enjoy guessing are invited to join us at 10am! Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to harvest some apples from the meadow orchard, have them processed by our mobile press and enjoy a glass of fresh apple juice.🍎🥛

Team "Grüne Höfe"🍀🌱: We are continuing our tour and will be coming to the east of Leipzig on Tuesday, where we hope to look into faces that are just as friendly and motivated as they were last Wednesday 😊 We would be happy to inform you about the registration and participation requirements of our project, give tips and present our support services:

Habt ihr Interesse mehr über die Zusammenhänge von Landwirtschaft und dem Rückgang von Insekten zu erfahren?
Dr. Guy Pe’er wird am 12. Oktober in einem Vortrag dieses wichtige Thema aufgreifen und stellt potenzielle Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Maßnahmen zum Schutz unserer Insekten vor.
Außerdem wird im Vortrag analysiert, ob die reformierte Agrarpolitik der EU den Bedürfnissen unserer Insekten überhaupt gerecht wird.

Interested in learning more about the connections between agriculture and the decline of insects?
Dr. Guy Pe'er will discuss this important topic in a presentation on October 12 and will introduce potential opportunities and measures to protect our insects.
The presentation will also analyze whether the EU's reformed agricultural policy fits the needs of our insects at all.
