A wax figure of Timothée Chalamet appears at Madame Tussauds Budapest.
The Budapest Wax Museum is celebrating its third anniversary and is celebrating the anniversary with a special guest: until the end of June, you can take a photo with a wax replica of Timothée Chalamet, brought specially from Amsterdam, at the museum on Dorothya Street.
The figure depicts the actor in the elegant brown suit he wore at the 2023 Bleu de Chanel campaign presentation in New York.
Chalamet has close ties to Budapest: during the filming of Dune and Henry V, he spent several months in the Hungarian capital, regularly appearing in the city's coffee shops. The figure was donated by Hungarian actor Zsombor Jäger, who has voiced Chalamet in six films released in Hungary.

The K Bridge on Hajógyári Island is awaiting reconstruction.
If the competition is successful, work could begin in the fall of 2026. The deadlines are tied to festivals: the bridge will be open during the Gyerek Sziget and Sziget Fesztivál, with completion expected by the summer of 2027.
The bridge was built in 1955 as a temporary structure, but for decades it has served as the main access road to Hajógyári-sziget. A technical inspection in 2025 found the bridge's condition to be critical.
The main change is a complete replacement of the roadway: the width of the roadway will increase from 2.8 to 3.5 meters, and the structure will meet modern category B load requirements. The bridge's external appearance will remain unchanged.

The beach at Árasztó Part in Budapest will reopen. Updated infrastructure, new amenities, and public events are in preparation.
Budapest currently has two official beaches on the Danube: the Roman Beach in Óbuda and the beach at Árasztó Part, which will open for the first time in late summer 2025.
Long-term plans include a river basin on the Danube, for which a feasibility study is already being prepared. Margaret Island, the Jane Haining Embankment, and the Hajógyári River are among the potential locations for new beaches.
Water quality in the Danube has significantly improved in recent years thanks to environmental investments, making the gradual expansion of bathing areas in the capital possible.

The concept was fully financed by the developer Metrodom under an urban development agreement with the district.
