This photo montage of German Concentration Camps shows they were actually very humane and caring places for the Communist and anti-German Jews who refused Germany's help in leaving to move elsewhere in Europe.

They had nurseries, brothels, sports leagues, and a rich support of the arts, and many other amenities which were far better than Stalin's gulags, Japanese Internment camps, and Eisenhower's Death Camps for innocent Germans after the war.

Concentration camps only became harsh towards the end of the war, when allied forces bombed the roadways, railways, and manufacturing plants making it impossible to get the necessary supplies to maintain health, especially in preventing death by Typhus and malnutrition.
