Here is the first chapter: if you want to gather honey ,dont kick over the beehive

Title: Why Criticism Doesn’t Work — And What Actually Does.

Hey guys, I just finished reading a really important part of How to Win Friends and Influence People — and I want to share this with you because it really made me think.

You know how sometimes we feel like telling someone what they’re doing wrong will help them fix it? Yeah, but that's not how it work at all.

Dale Carnegie ,the author, says that criticizing or blaming someone usually just makes them feel bad, defensive, and more distant from themselves . Nobody likes being told that they are wrong — it hurts their pride and makes them want to shut down or fight back.

Instead, the book suggests that trying to understand the other person first and showing appreciation for what they’re doing right. Like, instead of saying “You always interrupt me,” maybe say, “I really want to finish my thought — can we try to listen to each other a bit more?”.This works more beautifully to soul and mind of other person.

I realized I’ve been guilty of criticizing without realizing the damage it does. So today’s challenge for me (and for you!) is to stop criticizing other and blaming other for not doing right things ,for not going according to you.start trying to understand them and help them with kind voice and support. Then see how the things changes.

What do you think? Have you noticed this too?🙂‍↔️
Drop a heart❤️ if you relate and next time try to avoid these things and be more aware.

Now second chapter: The big secret of dealing with people

Hey,
After completing Chapter 2 of How to Win Friends and Influence People ,it really forced me to think more and understand real root cause of what? Let me explain

You know whats the only one way to get anyone to do anything for you?

The answer is - appreciation. But how??

Appreciation is a way where human can feel 'the desire to be important ' or ' the desire to be great' and thats the main thing where every big hustle, every big thing starts...now remember why someone starts studying hard - for good grades???why some starts fitness journey- to be fit?? Why someone starts dressing well- to look good?? No ,these are not the prime reason someone start doing something..its for the appreciation, its for getting valued..people run for money ,power ..why?? The reason is clear - " to feel valued ".

Think about it — when someone notices your efforts and genuinely says,
“Hey, I loved how you handled that,” or
“Your energy really makes a difference,”
— doesn’t that hit different?

This chapter reminded me how powerful it is to appreciate people more — our friends, family, even strangers.

🧠 So today’s little challenge:
Say one kind, specific thing to someone — and mean it.

Let’s create more good vibes around us 🌷💫
I’ll be back soon with Chapter 3.

🌷 Chapter 3 — The Golden Key to Winning Hearts

I think its one of my favorite quote of this book - “He who can do this has the whole world with him. He who cannot walks a lonely way.”
— Dale Carnegie

I think , Dale Carnegie has shared one of the most powerful truths about human connection —
If you want to win someone’s heart, start by talking about what they care about.

And trust me,i have experienced it and experimented it ..and it really works👐.

💬 Everytime We all crave to be heard, seen, and valued.

Most people enter conversations hoping to be interesting.
But the real magic lies in being interested.

Whether you're talking to a friend, a colleague, or a stranger —
if you shift the spotlight from yourself to them, you’ll notice an instant shift in the energy. They become more active, they start getting engaged more.

People naturally warm up to those who show genuine curiosity in their world — their hobbies, goals, stories, and experiences.

🌼 Let’s simplify this:

Instead of saying:
🔸 “Let me tell you about my weekend…”
Try:
🔹 “How was your weekend? Did you do something fun?”

Instead of pushing your ideas, ask:
🔹What do you think about this?
🔹Have you ever experienced something like this?”

📌 Takeaway to remember:

If you want to make people like you — stop talking about yourself, and start listening to them.
Make them feel like the main character — not a side note.

Because the truth is:
People remember how you made them feel — not what you said.

Drop a '❤️' if you are going to start implementing this.

Few months ago, while scrolling ,a reel of jay shetty ( a english podcaster, author, entrepreneur) appeared ..which i think the saying should be delivered to you all because that changed my perspective of seeing peoples action..

He says - ' we often judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their action ' .

you will notice if someone has ever done anything for you ,you focus on the action or the work .if its good you consider it as good..if its turns to be bad its bad for you but in the other side if you do something for someone else you consider your emotion ,your intention - you did by heart,by full focus..etc....
I hope you get it...i am still improving to deliver my thoughts and one day will be good at it❤️

So lets start giving the grace ,the comfort, the warmth to others like we give to ourselves because at the end we are just human which we forget everytime🌸...so keep your kindness alive always🌻.bye

Lets begin the second part of this book.
PART 2 - SIX WAYS TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE YOU❤️
8
📚Part 2, Chapter 1 — Do This and You’ll Be Welcome Anywhere

Lesson: The secret to being liked?

The author shared that the secret of liked is being interested in other's interest....and that's true people here are heavenly obsessed with themselves, they want to hear the things they are interested in ,the things they like..and of course about themselves...when you talk about the things they are interested they form a deep connection with you and from there they remember you for a longer period of time.

Learning:

Ask questions.
Listen closely.
Remember names.
Talk in terms of the other person's interests.

Because let’s be honest — the sound of our own name is the sweetest thing we want hear all day.

Most people walk around thinking:
Who cares about me?
But when you flip that and start thinking:
How can I care more about them?
— everything changes.

“Be interested, not interesting.”
That’s how you become unforgettable.
That’s how you get welcomed.

Bye.
Drop a '❤️' .

📖 Part 2 | Chapter 2 -💫 A Simple Way to Make a Good First Impression

🌻lesson : impact of a small gesture- smile

Have you ever noticed, when you enter in a group of people while they are talking ,we feel a sudden welcomed and comfortable adapting from a person who welcome us with a smile on his face ,you suddenly drop your armours in your head and become comfortable..i think a little gentle smile makes a huge impact on a person who sees you first time and it creates a warm impression on them ...but dont fake a smile ,always be what you are.

Learning:
You don’t need fancy words or perfect looks —
just a warm, genuine smile can change how a person see you.

🧠 u know Why it works:

We’re wired to respond positively to smiles.
It makes others feel relaxed, appreciated, and welcome.
And when someone feels good around you,
they naturally like you .

So,now onwards ,just smile whenever you meet someone .Make them feel you are made out of love and kindness 🌸
So, Smile😁 — it costs nothing.🫰

📖 Part 2, Chapter 3– “If You Don’t Do This, You’re Headed for Trouble”

Have you ever been in a room full of people, but the moment someone calls your name — you immediately turn?
That’s the power of our name. It makes us feel important, seen, and respected. The instant alertness in our mind just blows up .we instantly shifts our focus to that person.

Dale Carnegie says that a person’s name is the sweetest and most important sound in any language to them.❤️

It might seem like a small thing — but remembering and using someone’s name is a quiet kind of magic.
It shows attention. Care. And it tells the other person: you matter to me.

💡learnings :

• People love hearing their name.

• using their name creates connection instantly.

• It’s not about flattery — it’s about recognition and respect.

• Forgetting someone's name can come off as carelessness, even if unintentional.

It’s a small change, but Dale believes this can open doors, build trust, and help you connect faster — with anyone, anywhere.

📖 Part 2, Chapter 4 – “An Easy Way to Become a Good Conversationalist”

Have you ever been in a conversation where someone actually listened to you — like really listened — without interrupting, giving advice, or turning the topic back to themselves?
That feels special...i have experienced it like from one or two person in my life and that gives another level sense of relief...that person become very very special and make a different place in your heart....so that's a great way to make your place.

This chapter teaches us something so basic yet powerful:

⚡️If you want to be a good conversationalist — listen more.

Yup. That’s it.
People love to talk about themselves, their thoughts, their feelings, their experiences . When you give them that space, they walk away thinking you’re amazing — just because you made them feel heard.

✈️learning:

Most people don’t want advice — they want attention.

Listening shows care, patience, and emotional maturity.

So next time you're in a conversation — try being the one who listens instead of talks.💜

📖 Part 3 :How to win people to your way of thinking.
🌼Chapter 1 – “You Can’t Win an Argument”

This chapter,i think, is more relatable to me personally. I love arguing with people when their opinions conflicts with mine. I use to put out all my energy to prove my opinion correct. But dale (author) says that:
'A man convinced against his will
Is of the same opinion still'.

After being furious, frustated, drained i stop arguing and choose silence.
And i think, one should not argue with the person who is not willing to understand your point of view and imposing their opinion on you.

💐This chapter is not just about communication — it's about emotional intelligence and the delicate balance between being heard and being kind.

🧠 Even if you “win” the argument, you lose:

The other person’s goodwill.

The warmth in the relationship.

Their desire to talk openly again.

🎭 Arguments often trigger ego, not openness.
When someone feels attacked — even politely — they defend.
Not because they hate you, but because being wrong feels like a threat to their identity.

🌸 So What Can You Do Instead?

Here’s what this chapter suggests — and it’s powerful:

1. Avoid arguments altogether.

📍Don’t initiate conflict unless it’s truly worth it.
Ask yourself: Is this helping the relationship grow? Or just helping me feel superior?

2. Stay calm & listen.

📍Even when you disagree — listen with curiosity, not correction.
Say, “Interesting, I’ve never thought of it that way.”

3. Seek common ground.

📍Rather than saying “You’re wrong,” say:
~“I think we’re seeing it from different perspectives. Let’s figure this out together"

And honestly?
Peace feels better than pride.
Connection is more beautiful than control.

🛟 Save-Worthy Summary:

💡 You can’t change someone’s mind by force.
You change it with gentleness, empathy, and respect.
That’s how true influence works.

Let’s stop trying to win arguments and start trying to win hearts.❤️
