Параллельно со стримом, в Лондоне, в штаб-квартире корпорации TCKR Systems, состоялась официальная премьера новых эпизодов 7 сезона #BlackMirror. Гостям мероприятия предоставили возможность самостоятельно выбрать серии для просмотра с помощью дискеты. In the game, you take care of cute Thronglet creatures: feed, entertain and help them evolve. But it quickly becomes clear that there is something disturbing behind this.
The app was first spotted in an Easter egg: a QR code in the second trailer for Season 7 and on the «Plaything» poster led to app stores, where the tentative title was «TCK96», with a confusing description and glitchy graphics. Those who pre-registered were later notified of the new title — Black Mirror: Thronglets.
The game feels like it was made in the 90s and gradually reveals its dark side: it studies the player's behavior, offers to take a "personality test" and is full of hidden Easter eggs, including one related to the character Colin Ritman from «Bandersnatch».
The game is available on mobile devices for Netflix subscribers.
