За прошлую неделю (а точнее, за период с 10 по 13 апреля) седьмой сезон «Черного зеркала» собрал 7,1 миллиона просмотров, заняв 4 место в ТОП-10 самых популярных сериалов на Netflix. Шоу попало в рейтинг в 71 стране.

Однако есть и не очень радостные новости: показатели заметно снизились. Для сравнения, шестой сезон за первую неделю собрал 11,3 миллиона просмотров и вошёл в ТОП в 91 стране.

Это тревожный звоночек. Для того, чтобы рассчитывать на продолжение, сериалу нужно значительно нарастить просмотры.

Last week (more precisely, from April 10 to 13), the seventh season of «Black Mirror» collected 7.1 million views, ranking 4th in the TOP 10 most popular series on Netflix. The show entered the rating in 71 countries.

However, there is some not very good news: the numbers have dropped significantly. For comparison, the sixth season in the first week collected 11.3 million views and entered the TOP in 91 countries.

This is a worrying sign. In order to expect a continuation, the series needs to significantly increase its views.

However, this time the viewers themselves were victims of manipulation: Netflix secretly changed the details of the episode and randomly shows different versions. The difference concerns the name of the fast food — in one version it is Barnie's, in the other Bernie's.

The new part of «USS Callister» looks great!

Чарли Брукер рассказал, что в одной из ранних версий сценария Верити Грин носила кольцо вместо кулона, и эпизод тогда назывался «Ring of Truth» (о чем мы ранее сообщали). Однако позже от этого названия отказались, поскольку Брукер посчитал, что оно "слишком бросается в глаза". В итоге серию переименовали в «Bête Noire» — французское выражение, обозначающее нечто вызывающее отвращение или то, чего хочется избежать.

Charlie Brooker said that in one of the early versions of the script, Verity Green wore a ring instead of a pendant, and the episode was then called «Ring of Truth» (as we previously reported). However, this title was later abandoned because Brooker felt that it was "too on the nose". As a result, the episode was renamed «Bête Noire» — a French expression meaning something disgusting or something you want to avoid.
