Bitcoin Core Developer Luke Dash Jr claims to have been hacked and 200 bitcoin were stolen from his PC. Giving another reason to always hold your own keys in cold storage.

Devs don’t necessarily always have the more secure setups. Coding is one thing, operational security is another. Book smart != street smart.

You can be new to #Bitcoin and if you follow established best practices, you’ll be fine. Use HW wallets with backups in secure locations.
