VanEck says 8 of its 12 Bitcoin capitulation signals are currently flashing, while all 12 have entered capitulation territory at some point over the past three months.

The firm expects a shallower drawdown this cycle than Bitcoin’s previous -78% to -94% bear markets, citing spot ETF demand, a larger institutional holder base, and the absence of major failures like Celsius, 3AC and FTX.

Bitcoin is currently down 49% from its peak.
