Interestingly, everyone is used to calling this place the Beshenka River Canyon, but in fact, the Beshenka lies next to the Tashtai and has a canyon of its own.
So, once again, popular habit has defeated geography…

🌟 The Fyodor Dostoevsky Literary Memorial Museum on Kuznechny Lane is the apartment where the writer spent the final years of his life and wrote The Brothers Karamazov.

The interior has been recreated based on the recollections of his contemporaries, and the museum houses the writer’s personal belongings. It is open Tuesday and Thursday–Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tickets cost 200–400 rubles.
