In the next version of Better xCloud, Global settings will be put inside the same dialog as Stream settings.

You’ll still need to reload the page after changing these settings.

👨‍🔬 Beta testers needed

What’s new:
- Enabled “Controller-friendly UI” setting by default
- Moved Global settings and Stream settings into one dialog
- Tab/LB/RB: focus the tab icons
- Page Up/Page Down/LT/RT: jump betweens sections
- Esc/B: close dialog
- You can’t hold the d-pad/joystick to move at the moment. Will be fixed later.
- Made the Settings UI display nicely on small screens.
- Added “Better xCloud > Settings > Show” option for controller shortcut
- Fixed crashes on some iOS devices

How to test:
- Browser: install this beta version
- Android app: open Apps settings > Better xCloud script variant > Beta

If it works, please report back.

A new beta version is available. Read the previous post to know how to install/update.

It fixed many bugs and adjusted the UI. You can now hold the d-pad to navigate the settings. Holding sticks doesn't work because of a bug. I'll fix later because I have to play MW III on my Xbox first.

Received the Fire TV Stick 4K Max today. I will test the Better xCloud app on it the next couple days.

The next version of the app will have a new “Optimize WebView performance” option that automatically applies all the WebView flags in this guide. These changes only affect WebView inside the app so it’s safer to use.

You don’t have to use this feature unless your device sucks.
