• Who Can Message Me
This setting allows you to choose which groups of users can send you personal messages: "Everyone" or only "Contacts and Premium"

If a user can see your last seen time, they will now also see the time when you read their messages in a private chat. However, the new setting allows you to hide your reading time of their messages from such partner. When this option is activated, you also won't see when your conversation partner reads your messages.

As with greeting messages, the user can configure who receives such messages: all personal chats (except for specified exceptions) or only selected conversations.
Among the available scheduling options when Telegram will be able to send such messages for you are:
• Always send.
• Outside of business hours (determined by your work schedule).
• Set a period (the schedule is set manually for a specific period of time).
Business owners can enable the “Only if Offline” option so that the messenger does not send clients a message about your absence if you have recently logged into Telegram.

Telegram for macOS dropped support for the MacBook Touch Bar
Users noticed that the Beta version of Telegram for macOS no longer uses the Touch Bar on MacBooks. Previously, the Touch Bar located at the top of the keyboard on some MacBook models was used to quickly send emoji and stickers. The feature first appeared in the October 2018 update.
The developer confirmed that discontinuing Touch Bar support was a conscious decision. It is unknown whether Touch Bar integration will return in future versions of Telegram for macOS.
