Emoji Categories
In Beta version of Telegram for macOS, the Emoji search bar has been divided into several categories corresponding to feelings and emotions:
• Love
• Approval
• Disapproval
• Support
• Laughter and more
Navigating through these categories will significantly simplify the search for the desired emoji, both among standard emojis and among user-generated ones.

Lite mode in Telegram for macOS
In the beta version of Telegram for macOS a «lite mode» has been introduced which disables all visual effects in the client. Animations for animated emojis and stickers are only available on mouseover.
The lite mode is recommended for devices with low CPU and memory specifications.
The option is located at the top of the «General Settings». It is unknown whether the lite mode will be included in the stable version of the messenger.
