President Vladimir Putin said st Russia Energy Forum week 2022 that leaks in the two Nord Stream pipelines running under the Baltic Sea were an act of international terrorism to deprive people of cheap energy.
Gas can still be supplied by one intact part of the #NordStream2 pipeline but it is up to the #EU whether if it wants the gas or not, knowing that it can still supply 27 million cubic metres.

Putin also suggested the idea of creating an alternative European gas hub via #Turkey.

"We could move the lost volumes along the Nord Streams along the bottom of the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea region and thus make the main routes for the supply of our fuel, our natural gas to Europe through Turkey," Putin told an energy forum in #Russia on October 12, 2022.

The collective West is making a fool of itself. If any sovereign nation resists Western interference or defend their territorial integrity, they are punished 1. Sanctions which target the most vulnerable people 2. Declaring the self-respecting state a terrorist entity. Why? Because they challenge Western supremacy.

#Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily #Nebenzia announced his country’s willingness to send #fertilizer to #Syria free of charge, stressing that what prevents Moscow from making this move is the #US #CaesarAct.

“Our country is ready to send a shipment of fertilizer stuck in #EU countries because of sanctions against Russia, to Damascus for no charge, but it turns out that it is impossible to move it to Syria because of the Caesar Act adopted by the American authorities," Nebenzia said during a meeting of the #UN Security Council on Wednesday.

#EU says it will distributed emergency aid in government-controlled areas together with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and in non-government-controlled areas in Northwest #Syria in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

A second #European aid plane landed at #Damascus International Airport provided coming from Germany
The plane is sent from the German Red Cross to help the affected by the earthquake and carrys 40 tons and 239 kg of relief materials.

Two Italian planes arrived at #Beirut earlier and one Norwegian plane arrived at Damascus International Airport yesterday, which makes #Norway, #Germany and #Italy the only #EU countries that broke the unlawful siege imposed on #Syria
