The Times has released an exclusive piece exposing letters from Iran to Hamas revealing at least $222m in payments.

Addressed to a man named “Abu Ibrahim”, known to the rest of the world as Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas chief in Gaza, the typed letter is matter of fact. “Attached is a table of payments from Iran between 2014 and 2020,” it states.

However this is a big deal - the article by The Times includes translations of these letters, details of how the money made its way from Iran to Beirut to Hamas Political Bureau and then to Sinwar in Gaza and includes the confirmed bank statements of the money transfers.
