(a) Factors to consider in advising friends on what to wear to a diverse event:
1. Cultural sensitivity: Considering the cultural backgrounds of the attendees and choosing attire that respects and reflects diversity.
2. Dress code: Understanding if there is a specific dress code for the event and adhering to it appropriately.
3. Comfort: Ensuring that the chosen outfit is comfortable for the duration of the event and suitable for the venue.
4. Personal style: Encouraging friends to express their personal style while being mindful of the event's nature and attendees.

(b) Factors contributing to inappropriate ways of dressing:
1. Lack of awareness: Not understanding or respecting cultural norms, dress codes, or appropriate attire for different occasions.
2. Peer pressure: Succumbing to pressure from friends or social media influences to dress in a certain way that may not be suitable for the event.
3. Ignorance: Failing to consider the impact of one's attire on others or the significance of dressing appropriately in different settings.
4. Disregard for etiquette: Neglecting basic principles of dressing modestly, professionally, or in accordance with social expectations.

(c) Courteous behaviors in society:
1. Respect: Showing respect towards others' opinions, beliefs, and personal space.
2. Kindness: Being considerate, compassionate, and empathetic towards others in interactions and communication.

4. Politeness: Using polite language, manners, and gestures in social interactions to demonstrate courtesy and civility.
Question 1

1. The dress code; It's important to know if there is a specific dress code for the event, as it will
help determine the appropriate attire for the occasion.
2. The formality of the event: The level of formality of the event will influence the type of
clothing that is suitable for the occasion. For example, if the event is a formal gala, they would
need to dress more formally than if it were a casual backyard barbecue.
3. The venue or location of the event: The venue or location of the event can also impact the
dress code. For instance, if the event is being held in a fancy restaurant, they would likely need
to dress more formally than if it were taking place in a park.
4. The cultural aspect of the event: If the event has a specific cultural or thematic aspect, such as
a costume party or a cultural festival, they would want to dress in a way that aligns with the
theme or cultural norms.

(b) Four factors contributing to the inappropriate ways of dressing by the youth:
1. Lack of understanding of the event's dress code or dress code policy: If the youth does not
have a clear understanding of the event's dress code or dress code policy, they may end up
dressing inappropriately.
2. Ignorance of the event's formality: If the youth does not understand the level of formality
required for the event, they may end up dressing too casually or too formally.
3. Misinterpretation of the venue or location: If the youth misinterpret the venue or location of
the event, they may end up dressing inappropriately for the occasion.
4. Disregard for cultural or thematic aspects: If the youth disregards the cultural or thematic
aspects of the event, they may end up dressing in a way that is disrespectful or inappropriate for
the occasion.

(c) Four behaviours that are considered courteous in society could be:

1. Using polite language and manners, such as saying "please" and "thank you
2. Listening actively: Actively listening to what someone is saying, without interrupting or
dismissing their thoughts, can demonstrate that you value their opinions and are interested in
what they have to say.
3: Showing empathy and understanding towards others.
4. Respecting personal boundaries:
