🤍Chylothorax is caused by disruption of the thoracic duct and distributor resulting in chyli (lymphatics fluid of interstitial region) into pleural space. This can be seen in many conditions, and trauma and malignancy are the leading causes

🤍The most common etiologies of psuedocylothorax are tuberculosis and rheumatoid arthritis

Pulmonary hypertension generally classified in to Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (Idiopathic ) or secondary Pulmonary hypertension related to chronic lung disease commonly or Connective tissue diseases.
Based on WHO classification :

1- Class I: Idiopathic , Connective tissue diseases like SS , HIV , Drug related like fenfluramime

2-Class II : Pulmonary hypertension secondary to chronic pulmonary diseases like COPD ,bronchiectasis, ILF

3-Class III : Related to Cardiovascular disorder like in Mitral stenosis or congenital heart disease like in tetralogy fallots

4-Class IV : Related to Chronic pulmonary thromboembolism

Class V : related to miscellaneous caused include Sickle cell anemia , Sarcoidosis , post splenectomy.
