🛑Branches of femoral Artery :


✔️3 superficial, 3 deep Branches?

🔺Superficial:-

1- superficial epigastric artery

2- superficial circumflex illiac artery

3- superficial external pudendal artery


🔻 Deep branches:-

1- deep external pudendal artery

2- decending genicular artery ends as saphenios and articular branches

3- profunda femoris ends in the Adductor hiatus as poplitial.

🛑 Profunda femoris :-

Gives lateral and medial circumflex femoral arteries

And 3 perforating branches

🔹 Lateral circumflex femoral :-gives descending branches.

Poplitial starts in the Adductor Hiatus and ends in the level of poplitus muscle ... as Tibial Artery " anterior and posterior "

Anterior tibial artey gives fibular artery
And ends as Dorsalis pedis artery

Dorsalis pedis artery felt where ?🤔

lateral to the extensor hallucis longus tendon , aganist the Navicular bone.


Posterior Tibial artery as direct continuation of the poplitial artery .

Where it can be felt ?🤔

The posterior tibial pulse can be felt behind and below the medial malleolus.
