festivable? re-emerges at Tbilisi’s venue SIN3 powered by a set of Funktion One
festivable??? — a series of events dedicated (not exclusively) to experimental music, live performances and daring art forms. Having established a name for itself in Yerevan, festivable arrives in Tbilisi with a multifaceted lineup spanning a dozen live performances and dj-sets, bringing Armenia’s finest live acts and djs together with local talents.
With the genre palette ranging from free improvisation to footwork, the event will also feature a somatic performance by the Tbilisi-based dance company Tanzgaze. The project’s practice deals with being — in one’s physical body and mind, in limbo, in a state of neglect and oblivion and between uncertain spaces.

The club "Ban" is gone and likely won’t return. It all ended with police misconduct, the total looting of the police-sealed premises, and the unjust imprisonment of a person on unfounded charges.

Now we are DOD (another three letters full of meanings) — a Yerevan-based promo group organizing chaotic, unconventional, and unexpected musical events. On October 13, the world-famous Dutch lutenist Jozef van Wissem will perform in Armenia for the first time. Known for his collaborations with Jim Jarmusch and award-winning score for the Only Lovers Left Alive, van Wissem will perform alongside outstanding musicians representing a modern touch to the traditional music of the region:
Mar Margaryan (Armenia): musician and vocalist, performing on the kanon, known for playing in various genres and bands, including The Bambir;
Ben Wheeler (USA/Georgia): experimental composer and ethnomusicologist, playing choghur, saz, and pontic lyra. His compositions feature musical structures from local folk traditions meshed with electronics, feedback, and lo-fi aesthetics.
Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind concert.
