Under a proposed bill, Iowa businesses would not be able to ask about or maintain records of a person's medical treatment status — including vaccinations.

The bill would additionally prohibit businesses from hiring or firing someone based on their vaccination status. It would also ban denying goods and services, providing incentives or "segregation or discrimination" based on that status.

#Indiana Senate Bill 114 would prohibit businesses from requiring vaccines for any employees or customers. Businesses also could no longer require those who are unvaccinated to get tested, wear a mask or social distance, in situations when those who are vaccinated aren't required to.
