Little Islands Festival will take place from 21 to 25 August 2021 in Sikinos, an island in the southern part of the Cyclades.

From 27th to 31rd of July will take place the third edition of the Arte-19 VVR interactive festival that mixes real and virtual play between art and technology.

This alliance was implemented in the framework of the All-Around Culture programme by L’art Rue & MitOst and co-funded by the European Union in Egypt and EUNIC - European Union National Institutes for Culture in Egypt.
Fantomas is an 8-week lab that will take place from October to November 2022 at Medrar for Contemporary art where 5 visual artists will create VR experiences that embody future imaginations of collective realities. In the first 3 weeks of the lab, artist and curator Maha Maamoun will support the participants in the conceptual development of their projects and later on, artist Jean-François Robin will accompany them in the production phase.

Indeed, what is still considered experimental today may well one day be perceived as timelessly permanent. That is particularly true of contemporary art. The REAKTOR’s call for concepts is designed to seek out that very potential in the visual arts, hence the title Potenziale.
The chosen artists will be invited to further develop their concept and to plan its practical implementation and realisation supported by REAKTOR’s team. The resulting work of art will be showcased to the public within an exhibition or other suiting format of presentation in February 2024.
