Dua for home in paradise

Rabbibni lī `indaka baytan fī al-jannah

My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise

Reference: Surah At-Tahrīm (66:11)
In a world full of uncertainty, fear, and loss, there's a beautiful prophetic habit that can transform your mindset and bring peace to your heart.

Say:

I place you in the trust of Allah, the One whose trusts are never lost. (Ibn Majah: 2825, authentic).

Say it:

1- For your children when dropping them off at school.

2- To your spouse before they leave for work.

3- To your parents when you part from them.

4- When sending a friend off on a journey.

5- When worried about losing something valuable or someone dear.

Because the Prophet taught us what you place in Allah's care will never be lost.

He said: "Indeed, Allah preserves whatever is entrusted to Him." (Sahih Al-Jami: 1708)

This is not just a Dua, It's a mindset of trust, a heart at peace and a great Sunnah to revive.

Lā 'ilāha 'illā Allāhu wahdahu lā sharīka lāh, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa ‘alā kulli shay'in Qadīr

“None has the right to be worshipped but Allāh alone, Who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things.”

It was narrated from Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

"Whoever says [the supplication mentioned above] one hundred times in a day, it will be as if he freed ten slaves, and one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, and one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him, and it will be a protection for him against the shaytān all that day until evening comes. No one can do anything better than that except one who does more."

[Sahīh Al-Bukhārī 6323]
“O Allah, I Ask You for Your Love”

Allāhumma innī as’aluka ḥubbaka wa ḥubba man yuḥibbuka wal-amalalladhī yuballighunī ḥubbak. Allāhummajal ḥubbaka aḥabba ilaiyya min nafsī, wa ahlī wa minal-mā’il-bārid

O Allah, indeed, I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the action that will cause me to attain Your love, O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family and cold water

The effects of Gratitude : It guards your existing blessings and procures more !

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever comes across a person suffering a calamity and says :

الحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ، وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا

Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi afani mimmab-talaka bihi wa faddalani ala kathirim-mimman khalaqa tafdeela

All praise is for Allah Who saved me from that which He tested you with and Who most certainly favored me over much of His creation.’

… He will be kept safe from that calamity.”

(Hadeeth reference in 1st comment)

So apart from protecting your state of well-being, you're guaranteed that you will never be afflicted with the same affliction ever !

*Recommended Dua For Seeking Allah's Help in Paying Off Debts*

It was narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Mukatib (slave who had entered into a contract of manumission) came to him and said: “I am unable to pay off my manumission; help me.” He said: “Shall I not tell you some words which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me? And if you have debt like the mountain of Seer, Allah will pay it off for you. He said: Say: *Allahumma akfini bi halalika an haramika wa aghnini bi fadlika amman siwaka (O Allah, suffice me with what You have permitted so that that I have no need of that which You have forbidden, and make me independent of means by Your bounty so that I have no need of anyone besides You)*.’” (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, 2563. It was classed as sound by Al-Albani in Sahih At-Tirmidhi.)
Dua When You're Drowning in Hardships...

Yā Ḥayyu Yā Qayyūm, bi-raḥmatika astaghīth, aṣliḥ lī sha’nī kullahu, wa lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿayn

O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, I seek help through Your Mercy.
Set all of my affairs right, and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.

When you feel like the world is closing in…
Like you're drowning in stress, fear, or grief...
There’s a dua the Prophet ﷺ taught,
Using two of the Greatest Names of Allah:
Al-Ḥayy (The Ever-Living) and Al-Qayyūm (The Self-Sustaining).
Say it with full heart… and watch how the darkness begins to lift.
The Prophet (ﷺ) once asked the sahabah "Are you unable to earn 1000 good deeds a day?"

One said, "How can we earn 1000 good deeds a day?"

The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Say SubhanAllah 100 times and 1000 good deeds will be recorded for you and 1000 sins will be erased for you."

[Muslim 2698]
Dua for Invoking Allah in times of Distress

In times of grief, fear, or deep distress, the Prophet taught us a Dua that calms the heart and strengthens the soul.

The Prophet used to say during times of distress:

لا إله إلا الله العظيم الحليم لا إله إلا الله رب العرش العظيم
لا إله إلا الله رب السماوات ورب الأرض ورب العرش الكريم

There is no lord worthy of worship but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no Lord worthy of worship, but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no Lord worthy of worship, but Allah, Lord of the Heavens, Lord of the Earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.

Reference: Sahih Al-Bukhari: 6346
Why Is This Dua So Powerful?

-Because it centers your heart on Allah alone, not the problem.

- it reminds you that the One who created the Heavens and Earth is fully in control.

-The repetition of La Ilaha Illa Allah serves as a powerful reminder that none can remove harm or bring relief except Him. What you're facing is small, and the One you're calling upon is greater, stronger, and fully in charge.

➡️This Dua isn't just words, it shifts your focus from the hardship to the One who can remove the hardship.

A Dua for the Soul

Allāhumma āti nafsī taqwāhā, wa zakkihā anta khayru man zakkāhā, anta waliyyuhā wa mawlāhā

O Allah, grant my soul a sense of righteousness and purify it, for You are the best to purify it. You are its Protector and its Guardian.

Dua against the Enemy

O Allah, Revealer of the Book, swift in (taking) account, put the tribes to rout. O Lord, defeat them and shake them.

Reference: Sahih Muslim 1742b
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abu Aufa that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the tribes (who had marched upon Medina with a combined force in 5 H) and said:
اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ اهْزِمِ الأَحْزَابَ اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ
O Allah, Revealer of the Book, swift in (taking) account, put the tribes to rout. O Lord, defeat them and shake them.

Reference: Sahih Muslim 1742b

O believers, the cries from Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Syria, Lebanon, and beyond continue to rise, day after day.

➡️Children are buried beneath rubble.
➡️Women are widowed before their eyes have dried from the last loss.
➡️Elderly parents say goodbye to their entire households.
And yet… they hold onto Lā ilāha illallāh, even in their final breath.

The world remains silent, but our hearts should not.

Let us also raise our hands, as the Prophet ﷺ did. Let us turn to Allah Subḥānahu wa Taʿālā, who hears the silent tear and answers the whispered cry.

Ya Allah,
Destroy the oppressors who exceed all bounds and transgress Your limits.
Uphold justice upon this Earth, as You promised.
Grant sabr to the grieving, cure to the wounded, and security to those who fear.
Replace their hunger with provision, their fear with safety, their sorrow with peace.
You are Ar-Raḥmān, we ask not for much, just a drop from Your Mercy.

➡️O Ummah,
-Do not scroll past the pain.
-Do not let your dua fall silent.
-This supplication is our shield, our strength, and our hope.
-Revive the dua of your Prophet ﷺ.
-Let it rise from your heart with sincerity.
-Let it shake the heavens with your hope in your Rabb.

➡️May Allah Subḥānahu wa Taʿālā accept our prayers, grant victory to the oppressed, and count us among those who stood in sincerity when the world looked away, Aameen.
JUST ASK FOR FORGIVENESS.

A man complained to Hasan al-Basri (rahimahullah d. 110 AH) about a drought.

So he said to him: Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

Another man complained to him of poverty.

So he said to him: Pray to Allaah to forgive you.

Another man said to him: Pray to Allaah to bless me with a child.

He said: Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

Another complained to him that his garden was dry.

He said to him: Pray to Allaah for forgiveness.

We asked him about that and he said: This is not my personal opinion.

For Allaah says:

"I [Prophet Nooh (alaihumus salam) said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving. (Al Qurʾān 71:10)

He’ll send rain to you in abundance.

And give you increase in wealth and children,
and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.
