Hadith : If anybody ask with this Greatest Name of Allah , he gives

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
Rasool-Allah SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam heard a man say

Allahumma! Inni Asaluka Bi-Anna Lakal-Hamd. La ilaha illa Anta, Wahdaka La sharika Lak, Al-Mannan.
Badi-us-samawati Wal-ard, Dhul-jalali wal-ikram

O Allah! I ask You by virtue of the fact that all praise is due to You; None has the right to be worshiped but You ,And You are alone, You have no partner , The Bestower, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, The Possessor of majesty and honor.' After hearing this Rasool-Allah Sal-Alalahu Alaihi Wsallam said: He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name , if he is asked with this name, He gives and if He is called upon with this name, He answers.

🌎6 Quranic Verses that will bring Sakinah (tranquility) into your life🌍

Ibn Al-Qayyim(Rahimahullah) said in his book Madaarij As-Saalikeen,“Whenever Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah( Rahimahullah ) found things difficult, he would recite verses mentioning tranquility.I heard him say about a difficult situation that happened to him during his sickness, ‘When I got very sick, I asked those who were around me to recite on me verses that speak about tranquility.Once they did,I recovered completely.’”

Below are 6Ayaat of the Quran that speak of Sakinah& whose recital these scholars say have proven to be beneficial to draw tranquility into our lives:

🌀Surah Baqarah2:248
🌀Surah Tawbah9:26 & Surah Tawbah 9: 40
🌀Surah Al-Fath 48:4,18 & 26

And their Prophet (Samuel) said to them: Verily! The sign of His Kingdom is that there shall come to you At-Tabut (a wooden box), wherein is sakinah (peace and reassurance) from your Lord & a remnant of that which Musa (Moses)& Harun (Aaron) left behind, carried by the angels. Verily, in this is a sign for you if you are indeed believers.
(Surah Baqrah 2: 248)

📌2⃣

Then Allah did send down His sakinah(calmness, tranquillity& reassurance, etc.) on the Messenger (Muhammad SAWS),& on the believers,&sent down forces (angels) which u saw not,& punished the disbelievers.Such is the recompense of disbelievers.
(Surah Taubah 9:26)

If u help him (Muhammad SAW) not (it does not matter), for Allah did indeed help him when the disbelievers drove him out,the second of two, when they (Muhammad SAW & Abu Bakr) were in the cave,& he (SAW) said to his companion (Abu Bakr): "Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allah is with us." Then Allah sent down His sakinah (calmness, tranquillity, peace, etc.) upon him,&strengthened him with forces (angels) which you saw not,& made the word of those who disbelieved the lowermost, while it was the Word of Allah that became the uppermost,& Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
(Surah Taubah 9:40)

He it is Who sent down As-sakinah (calmness& tranquillity) into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their  (present) Faith.& to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens & the earth,& Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.
(Surah Al-Fath 48:4)

📌5⃣

Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they gave their Bai'a (pledge) to you (O Muhammad SAW) under the tree, He knew what was in their hearts,& He sent down As-sakinah (calmness& tranquillity) upon them,& He rewarded them with a near victory,
(Surah Al-Fath 48:18)

📌6⃣

When those who disbelieve had put in their hearts pride & haughtiness the pride & haughtiness of
Rewards of asking forgiveness for the believers

Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and women, Allah will record a good deed for him by each man and woman.
At-Tabaraani- 2118-Musnad Al-Shamiiyin-Hasan

Rabbana Agfirlee Waliwalidaeeya Wa lilmumeenina Yauma Yaqaumul hisab

Al Quran : Our Lord ! Forgive me and my parents, and (All) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established.
Surah Ibrahim (14) , Verse 41
A beautiful dua in times of Distress, Hardship, Anxiety and Sadness..

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “There is no-one who is afflicted by distress and grief, and makes this dua but Allah will take away his distress and grief, and replace it with joy.”

He ﷺ was asked: “O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, should we learn this?”

He ﷺ said: “Of course; everyone who hears it should learn it.”
[Musnad Imam Ahmad]

What is this dua?

Allahumma inni ‘abduka, ibnu ‘abdika, ibnu amatika. Naasiyati biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukumuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadha’uka. Asaluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka, sammaita bihi nafsaka, aw an-zaltahu fi kitabika, aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, awista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilmil-ghaibi ‘indaka an taj’alal-Qur’ana Rabbi’a qalbi, wa noora sadri, wa jalaa’a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi.

O Allah, I am your servant, the son of your servant, the son of your maidservant. My forelock is in your hand, your command concerning me prevails, and your decision concerning me is just. I call upon you by every one of the beautiful names of which you have described yourself, or which you have revealed in your Book, or you have taught to any of your creatures, or which you have chosen to keep in the knowledge of the unseen with you, to make the Quran the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, and to remove my sadness and dispel my anxiety.

It is normal to feel these emotions. You are not less of a believer if you have anxiety or feel sadness. The distinction between the believer and non-believer is that the believer remains patient and turns to Allah for assistance.

When in hardship remember these two beautiful ahadith and remember your hardships are a means of purification when you experience these emotions or pain. It's a win-win situation for a believer who shows patience and turns to Allah in supplication.

❝The affair of the believer is amazing! The whole of his life is beneficial, and that is only in the case of the believer. When good times come to him, he is thankful and it is good for him, and when bad times befall him, he is patient and it is also good for him.❞
- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
[Muslim]

❝No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that. ❞
- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
[Bukhari]

We are bound to be tested and pushed to our limits. As believers alhumdulillah Allah informs us of this already. This isn't news to us, we know we will be tested and we have been told that with our tests the help of Allah is near!

❝Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so ˹violently˺ shaken that ˹even˺ the Messenger and the believers with him cried out, “When will Allah’s help come?” Indeed, Allah’s help is ˹always˺ near.❞
{Surah Al Baqarah 2: Verse 214}

Everyone reaches a point where they contemplate just giving up, but that isn't the way of those who believe in Allah and Jannah. You must always put your trust in Allah and keep going. One day at a time. If you can't walk - crawl towards Allah.

❝If you are on the path towards Allah, then run.
If it is hard for you, then jog.
If you get tired, then walk.
And if you can’t, then crawl, but never go back or stop.❞
🤲Ya Sabur, I feel anxiety about the unknown. I feel scared for what is to come in my life. I have insecurities that I don’t know how to handle. I am hesitant about the new chapters in my life that I need to embark on. Dispel my worries and anxieties. Give me the ability to trust your plan and wisdom. I stand before you vulnerable, uninformed about my future but you Ya Allah are All Aware, You know what is best for me in my life, Guide me towards the best with ease - Allahumma ameen!

📖 Say, "Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector." And upon Allah let the believers rely.
{Surah Taubah 9: Verse 51 }
The most comprehensive dua.

The great scholar Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen -Rahimuhullaah said:

‘From the most comprehensive of what you can supplicate with is what is mentioned in the hadeeth of Anas -RadhiAllaahu anhu- that the Prophet ﷺ would say this a lot in his Dua’:

‘O our Lord give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of The Fire.’

‘Rabbanaa aatina fid-Dunyaa hasanah wa fil aakhira(ti) hasanah

wa qinaa adhaab an-Naar’

Since indeed this Dua’ is the most comprehensive of all Dua’.

‘O our Lord give us goodness in this world ‘

This includes all the goodness of the Duniya:

• from having a righteous wife

• comfortable transport

• tranquil home

• as well as other matters.

‘goodness in the Hereafter’

This includes all the goodness of the Hereafter:

• from an easy reckoning

• Being given your record of deeds in the right hand

•easily passing over the Siraat (bridge)

• drinking from the lake of the Messenger ﷺ

• entry into Paradise

• as well as other matters from the goodness of the Hereafter.

So this Dua is from the most comprehensive of supplications rather it is the most comprehensive because it is inclusive and complete.’

[Sharh Riyadh as-Saliheen 6/16. Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya]
-🔰 The Prophet (PBUH) said, “If a person raises his head from ruku and recites the following dua after reciting “Sami’yall-Huliman Hamida, Rabbana Walakal Hamad”, then more than thirty angels start competing among themselves as to who will receive its reward first. Record it. "Subha-nall-hi wabihamdihi"

The supplication is:

Pronunciation:- “Hamdan kachiran tayyiban muba-rakan fieh”

🔸 Many of us may be aware of the virtues of the prayer, but due to laziness or negligence, we are not able to recite the prayer regularly.
The Gates of the Heavens open because of this words

It was narrated that Ibn Umar said: "While we were praying with the Rasool-Allah Sal-Alalahu Alaihi Wasallam , a man among the people said:

Allahu Akbar kabira, wal-hamdu Lillahi kathira, wa subhan-Allahi bukratan wa-Asila
Rasool-Allah Sal-Alalahu Alaihi Wasallam said: 'Who is the one who said such and such?' A man among the people said: 'I did, O Messenger of Allah.' Rasool-Allah Sal-Alalahu Alaihi Wasallam said: the gates of the Heavens had been opened for these words
Ibn Umar radi allahu anhu said: since I heard this hadith from the Rasool-Allah Sal-Alalahu Alaihi Wasallam I never stopped saying these words.
Sunan Nasaii, Book 11, 887-Sahih
Dua to get well from the effect of evil eye and all kinds of illnesses

Aisha Radi Allahu anha said When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) fell ill, Jibril Alaihi Salam used to recite this:

Bismillahi Yubrika, Wa min Kulli Daa-in Yushfiika,
Wa min Sharri Hasidin Eeza hasad, Wa min Sharre kulli Zee Ayneen

In the name of Allah, may He cure you from all kinds of illnesses and safeguard you from the evil of a jealous one when he feels jealous and from the evil influence of eye.
Sahih Muslim, Book 26, 5424

It was narrated from Aishah (رضي الله عنها) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught her this supplication:

(Allahumma inni as'aluka minal-khayri kullihi 'ajilihi wa ajilihi ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma lam a'lam)

O Allah, I ask You for all that is good, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know.

(wa a'udhu bika minash-sharri kullihi 'ajilihi wa ajilihi ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma lam a'lam)

O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all evil, in this world and in the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know.

(Allahumma inni as'aluka min khayri ma sa'alaka 'abduka wa nabiyyuka)

O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your slave and Prophet has asked You for

(wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'adha bihi 'abduka wa nabiyyuka)

and I seek refuge with You from the evil from which Your slave and Prophet sought refuge.

(Allahumma inni as'alukal-jannatah wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amalin)

O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed

(wa a'udhu bika minan-nari wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amalin)

and I seek refuge in You from Hell and from that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed.

(wa as'aluka an taj'ala kulla qada'in qadaytahu li khayran)

And I ask You to make every decree that You decree concerning me good.

Indeed Allaah chose four statements

Messenger of Allaah –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam– said:
‘Indeed Allaah chose four statements: ‘Far is Allaah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allaah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah, and Allaah is the Greatest,’ (Subhana Allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la illaah ila Allaah, wa Allaahu Akbar). So whoever says ‘Subhana Allaah,’ twenty good deeds are written for him, and twenty bad deeds are taken away. Whoever says ‘Allaahu akbar’ then he gets likewise. Whoever says ‘La illaah ila Allaah,’ then he gets likewise. Whoever says ‘Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil Al-Ameen’ from his own self then thirty good deeds are written for him and thirty sins are cancelled from him.’

Protecting Himself from the Shayaateen 👺

Ja’far bin Sulaymaan ad-Duba’ee narrated: Aboo at-Tayyaaj narrated to us, he said: “I said to ‘Abdur-Rahmaan bin Khanbash at-Tameemee – and he was an old man – ‘did you reach the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم (during his lifetime)?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘So I said: How did the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم act on the night the shayaateen plotted against him?’ So he said: ‘Indeed the shayaateen descended that night upon the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم from the valleys and mountain paths, and amongst them was a shaytaan, in his hand was a flame of fire, wanting to burn the face of Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم with it. So Jibreel – عليه السلام – descended to him and said: ‘O Muhammad! Say:

So it (this du’aa) extinguished their fire, and Allaah تبارك و تعالى defeated them.” [2]
