A Day of Impact Across All Campuses!
Today, the Ambo University Students' Union, in continued partnership with the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (Ambo District), successfully carried out another day of meaningful community service.
We are proud to share these highlights:

Hachalu Hundessa Campus

Students joined in large numbers, showing incredible energy and dedication to the Red Cross activities.

Gudar Mamo Mezamir Campus:

Our students visited the Mekedonia Ambo Branch, where they contributed essential materials and shared lunch and coffee with the elders, receiving their blessings and wisdom in return.

Main Campus: Continued its strong support and coordination of these vital initiatives.

There is a power outage across the entire cumpus (main cumpus )due to a problem with the electrical line. They are currently attempting to fix it because turning on the generator might cause further issues with the line. If the line is repaired, the generator will be turned on. If it is not repaired, it will be difficult to turn it on.

በግቢው ውስጥ(main cumpus)ባለው የኤሌክትሪክ መስመር ችግር ምክንያት በመላው ግቢው ውስጥ መብራት ጠፍቷል። ጄነሬተሩን ማስጀመር በመስመሩ ላይ ችግር ሊያስከትል ይችላል ስለተባለ፣ መስመሩን ለመጠገን ጥረት እየተደረገ ነው። መስመሩ ከተስተካከለ ጄነሬተሩ ይበራል።ካልተስተካከለ ግን ጄነሬተሩን ለማስጀመር አስቸጋሪ ይሆናል።

We have been in discussions with the relevant authorities about the cost-sharing issue for all non-cafe students. We expect to have an update for you by tomorrow. ከአፈር ላይ ወደ ክብር፡ በአይን የሚታይ የርህራሄ ጉዞ

በወሊሶ ካምፓስ የተማሪዎች ህብረት የበጎ ፈቃድ ቡድን በቅርቡ በአካል ተገኝተን ያየነው እውነታ ልብ የሚሰብር ነበር። አንዲት እናት "ቤቴን እዩልኝ" ብለው በጠሩን ጊዜ የጠበቀን ትዕይንት የሚዘገንን ነበር።
ልጃቸው በከባድ የነርቭ በሽታ ተይዛ ለዓመታት በአልጋ ላይ ተኝታ ትገኛለች። መንቀሳቀስም ሆነ ራሷን መቆጣጠር አትችልም። የባሰውን አሳዛኝ የሚያደርገው ግን፣ የነበራት ፍራሽ አርጅቶ ወደ አፈርነት ተቀይሮ መሬት ላይ ተኝታ መገኘቷ ነው። ወላጆቿ በዕድሜ የገፉና በልመና የሚተዳደሩ በመሆናቸው፣ ልጃቸውን የመንከባከብ አቅም ሙሉ በሙሉ አጥተው ነበር።
እስካሁን ያደረግነው፦
✅ ተማሪዎችን በማስተባበር አዲስ አልጋና ፍራሽ ገዝተንላታል።
✅ ቤቱን በማጽዳትና የቆሸሹ ልብሶችን በማጠብ ለውጥ አምጥተናል።
✅ የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ የምግብ ድጋፍ አድርገናል።
ይህ ጅማሬ እንጂ ማብቂያ አይደለም። ወደፊትም መሰል የበጎ አድራጎት ስራዎችን ለመስራት ዝግጁ ነን። ከጎናችን ለሆናችሁ ሁሉ ምስጋናችን ይድረሳችሁ! 🙏

From the Ground to Dignity: A Journey of Compassion

Recently, we at the Woliso Campus Students’ Union Volunteer Group witnessed a heartbreaking situation. A mother reached out to us, saying, “Please come and see my home.” What we found was shocking. Her daughter, suffering from a severe neurological condition, has been bedridden for years, lying on a deteriorating mattress that had turned to dust, directly on the ground. The elderly parents, surviving by begging, were unable to care for her properly.

Here’s what we’ve done so far:
✅ Provided a new bed and mattress
✅ Cleaned the house and washed dirty clothes
✅ Offered initial food support

This is just the beginning of our humanitarian efforts. We are committed to continuing this vital work in the future.

እንደሚታወቀው የአምቦ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች ህብረት ከተማሪዎቻችን ጋር በመሆን የተለያዩ ድጋፎችን ሲያደርግ ቆይቷል፡፡ በተለይም በ 2017 ዓ.ም የሁለት ቀን የስጋ ምግብ  ፕሮግራምን ወደ ሌላ አማራጭ በመቀየር፣ የተገኘው ገንዘብ ለተማሪዎች ድጋፍ እንዲውል መደረጉ ይታወሳል፡፡
ምንም እንኳን ስራው በ 2017 ዓ.ም የተከናወነ ቢሆንም፣ ስራችን በግልጽነት እና በታማኝነት የተሞላ እንዲሆን ለእናንተ ለተማሪዎቻችን የሚከተለውን ዝርዝር መረጃ ልናሳውቃችሁ እንወዳለን፡፡ የተሰበሰበው ብር ለታሰበለት አላማ ሙሉ በሙሉ የዋለ ሲሆን፣ ለመምህርት ቶላሺ ጎሰማ እና የኢኮኖሚ ችግር ላለባቸው ተማሪዎቻችን ድጋፍ ሆኗል፡፡

🔸 ለተማሪዎች የተደረገ ቀጥታ ድጋፍ (10%)፦
25,396.78 ብር ከፍተኛ የኢኮኖሚ ችግር ላለባቸው 4 ተማሪዎች በቀጥታ ተከፋፍሏል፡-
1, T.L.M— 9,000 ብር
2,N.T.W — 6,396.78 ብር
3,ሰ.ሚ. ገ— 6,000 ብር
4,ሙm ተ. ቱኒ — 4,000 ብር
ይህ በ 2017 ዓ.ም የተከናወነ ስራ አሁንም በ 2018 ዓ.ም ለምናደርገው እንቅስቃሴ እንደ ጠንካራ መነሻ እያገለገለ ይገኛል፡፡

The intramural competition that was previously conducted among the campuses and colleges of our university is set to resume, as all necessary preparations have now been completed.
All teams are hereby informed to get ready and begin their training sessions accordingly.
The official start date of the competition will be communicated soon.
