Welcome to Atom Radar! π‘
This channel was created to fill a gap: there hasn't been a central, reliable source for Cosmos Hub and ATOM-specific news.
Cosmos Hub stands apart from the rest of the Cosmos SDK ecosystem, and that distinction often gets lost in the noise.
Our goal here is simple: keep the information and education clean and unbiased, and let you, the reader, form your own judgment.

Gauntlet answers critics as Hub upgrade heads to a vote
Gauntlet - The firm studying ATOM sell pressure answered community members who said it labeled some wallets wrong. Its point: 7.56M ATOM is the most that could have been sold, not proof anyone sold it. The math checks out. The fight is over who owns which wallet.
Three teams - Cosmos Labs split in April. One team works only on the Hub. One builds the shared software other chains use. One sells to banks.
EVM - The Hub wants to run Ethereum apps. Two options: build it into the Hub, or run a second chain next to it. Nothing decided.
Upgrade - A small update that lets Hydro run on the Hub passed testing. Vote next week, live in two to three weeks.

Only the upgrade has a date. The other three are still open, and the EVM choice is being argued in public on the forum.

Cosmos Labs splits into three pillars with a Hub-only team
Cosmos Labs published its first Cosmos Quarterly, disclosing an April restructure into three pillars - ecosystem, open source and enterprise - each with its own team and budget.
π The Ecosystem team works only on the Cosmos Hub, staffed in part by the 15+ people who joined via the June Mintscan acquisition.
For two years the Hub shared one team with the enterprise bet built to fund everything else, and lost most of those contests. A ring-fenced budget removes that excuse.

Injective connects to Cardano on testnet via IBC
That could give Cardano users a route to USDC issued on Injective, with a part of the resulting fee flow feeding ATOM buybacks.
