A vote is taking place regarding the modification of the minimum connection period to at least 30 days. The vote will last from 29th May to 3rd June.
The reason for this change is that frequent operations by short-term arbitrageurs could negatively impact LUCA's stability and weaken the effectiveness of the deflation mechanism that we start soon. By extending the minimum locked up period, such behaviour can be largely prevented.
Additionally, extending the minimum connection period can encourage users to hold LUCA for the long term, reducing panic selling triggered by market fluctuations.
This vote is a community vote by ATM, reflecting the decentralized governance core of ATM's autonomous nature. It will be appreciated if all users can actively participate, express their opinions, and contribute to the development of ATM.
