Five weeks we are united to help Ukrainians who are suffering from the war.
Last week on Thursday our team dispatched the sixth 18t-truck full of your support to Ukraine, which safely arrived to Uzhgorod.
It would not be possible without your effort. Unfortunately, the situation is still deplorable and your help is still needed.
Our lists of humanitarian aid are still the same, where the main focus is food and medical supplies.

We have received a request of huge importancy from Rehabilitation Institute for Persons with Disabilities in Vinnytsia.
The flow of Ukrainians affected by war to Vinnitsya is large. The hospital's fleet cannot cope and the wounded people are transported in unequipped minivans on the floor 💔😔.
We have found the ambulance to purchase in Poland. We are already in contact with the seller. The cost of the car in question is about 7200 euro + the cost of gasoline to overtake it to Ukraine.
Unfortunately, we can keep the reservation for this ambulance only until 9.04.
We already have 3,000 euro on ASWU’s account.
We believe that with enthusiasm and with your participation we can provide people in need with this huge help!

Let us tell you a beautiful story about beautiful people.
About a week ago we have received a dm from Francisca Bastos.
She wrote us, that there is a tradition in Portugal to put a flower wreath on house's door on the 1 of May as a symbol of a year with no hunger, and a good harvest.
Her mother Mrs. Ferreira together with her friend Mrs. Lopes, who is a florist, had an idea to make the wreaths this year in blue and yellow to support Ukraine. So, Mrs. Lopes has made 150 beautiful flower compositions and sold them.
Yesterday Francisca arrived in our office and handed money to us, that Mrs. Lopes received from selling the wreaths. She wanted to support our project “Food for Families” 😭❤️🩹.
Dear ladies! We have no words! Your traditions are beautiful and your hearts are kind. Thank you for joining our project from Portugal! Thank you for your idea, for your work and time! And to all the caring people who bought the wreaths! 🌼

We have received the important medical equipment from the hospital in Graz. The list includes hospital beds, medicine refrigerators, double lamps for surgeries, emergency vacuums, ECG devices, gamma monitors, endoscopy monitors, and other equipment.
🚛The delivery is planned for the 31of May. The itinerary is Graz - Uzhhorod. The transportation costs are 1500 euros.

Our 9th truck was successfully unloaded in Uzhhorod on the 29th of May. With your precious help, we succeded to deliver mattresses, bed linen, sleeping bags, pampers, baby food, hygiene items, medicine, food (including 1 tone of flour) and 122 boxes with Food for families.

The 41 boxes of Food for families were reloaded straight to the minivan and sent to Severodonetsk (Luhansk region). We truly admire the bravery of Ukrainian volunteers. Glory to Ukrainian heroes!🦸🏻♂️🦸🏼♀️

ASWU cooperates with a volunteer organization in Ukraine named “Help Ukrainian Children”. We know Pasha and Nina in person and we admire how dedicated to their mission they are.
Deeply empathizing with the tragedy in Mariupol and other Ukrainian cities, they help mothers with small children, who suffered from the war. They are providing mothers with all neccesary things for children.
🔆We want our little ukrainians to be safe, happy and healthy 🥹.

☝🏻On the 17th of June, we have loaded over 12 tons of medical equipment - 32 medical beds, 8 surgical lamps, 2 EKG devices, 2 defibrillators, 4 examination lights, 3 docking stations, 4 pulse oximeters, 25 medical mattresses, 4 monitors and other valuable devices.
❤️🩹This incredible donation was made by Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder in Graz. This is undescribable support to the Ukrainian hospitals and people, affected by the war.
🚛The truck has crossed the Ukrainian border on the 18.06. The medical equipment goes to the hospitals in Dobropillia (Donetsk region), Kryvyi Rih (Dnipro region), Dnipro and Uzhhorod.
🥮In addition, we have sent 50 boxes of Food for families. The boxes are currently distributed in the Makarivskyi district (Kyiv region).
⭐️This is our 10th truck. More than 100 days of hard work, of pain and hope, sadness and inspiration, fatigue and gratitude. We have made this together with you! And, as always, we thank you from all our hearts and we keep going.

🚑MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL #16 IN DNIPRO🚑
Functional and comfortable medical beds and other important medical equipment from the hospital in Graz were delivered to the intensive care unit of the hospital №16 in the city of Dnipro.
The medical staff's words in the video penetrate deep into our hearts. The head physician of the department: «It is very scary to be alone during such a terrible disaster. But we feel your support and therefore we will win» 😭❤️🩹.
We feel the deepest respect and gratitude to the doctors who are now doing titanic work in Ukraine. Thank you for saving the lives of Ukrainians, whom Russia is trying to destroy day after day so mercilessly 💔.
And thank you, dear #heroesofourhearts , for standing with Ukraine 🇺🇦.

🏙A small town in Kyiv region, which welcomed more then 200 in-country refugees. Thanks to our partners @camz_ua 30 boxes with weekly food supply were delivered there.

🏙 Eine kleine Stadt in der Region Kiew, die mehr als 200 in-Land Flüchtlinge aufgenommen hat. Dank einem unserer Partner @camz_ua wurden 30 Kisten mit wöchentlichem Essensvorrat dorthin geliefert.
